    That would be just priceless.

Golota's face all busted up after he finally wins a title at the age of 45.

    "Yo Mariola.....I DID IT!!!!!!"

Well, I like Adamek, but of course my heart and loyalty will always be with G-Man. And we would not have to worry about Adamek knocking Golota out in the first round. I think it would be a rather interesting match if it ever came off. Adamek would have way more skill and speed but Golota would be such a tank next to Adamek and Golota still works those inside combos pretty well.

It's funny, but I expected Adamek to look a bit bigger. I really think he's pushing it if he moves to heavyweight. Personally, I'd prefer that he dominates cruiser for years to come.

He would probably look really quick at heavyweight, but I have my doubts as to whether he can be as effective.

I will say this--when he was doing pad work, he was ****ing throwing some really hard punches. Very nice guy for some one with such a menacing punch.

    Back to Golota...

Someone was telling me a story that when Oliver McCall once saw Golota enter a room he was in, he got really excited like a fan and started yelling, "Hey! That's Andrew Golota!"

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

McCall is apparently a fan of Andrew's.

And speaking of McCall, he was (IMO) probably the best guest we ever had on OTR. What a great story teller he was.

    And back to Golota-Adamek....

I don't want to see it. If Golota is going to have one more fight, I'd rather it be against someone else, and if he is going to fight again, he may as well see if he can get King to just give him a crack at Valuev for the hell of it.

That's the ONE heavyweight fight I really would like to see, so long as Valuev has a title.

Otherwise, give us a rematch with Grant or even Ruiz.

Hey Rumsfeld, it was a pleasure to meet you yesterday, good job in starting this unstoppable express. It was interesting to hear Golota vs. Adamek will likely happen as the two have had a bit of a grudge clash in the media and a fight would be very big in Poland. If TA can't secure the big fights he wants to go to HWT and a fight with AG would be a good first step. But if AG were to lose which could happen, considering how sharp TA is right now, it would be difficult and painful to watch. Keep in touch bro,

I was never upset with you. Thanks for passing along the info. We need to keep this thread going lol!

I agree 100% with your sentiments. I am just glad that Golota is back training again.

At this point, I would just be happy to see him finish his career on a positive note.

... and both Vitaly and Wlad enter the ring with the
tears in the eyes and start hugging Mariola as well
at that time Andrew got just crazy jealous and taking
advantage of surprise knocked out poor Wlad in Vitaly
becoming unofficially first undisputed HW champion since ...:huh

I thought Adamek and Golota were friends. Did they have a falling out?

If Adamek moves to heavyweight, I see another Vassily Jirov happening. I agree, he wont be very effiective as heavyweight, he just does not have the natural size. He should stay where he is at.

Yeah, I remember hearing that story about Oliver McCall a while back. I think Scoop wrote about it sometime during the Golota-Byrd/Ruiz era. Maybe McCall can identify with Golota's mental demons?

Did you find out if Sam is training Golota again? Is Golota serious about boxing again, or is he just keeping in shape cause he's bored playing Mr.Mom while Mariola brings in the hard earned? There is never any telling with Golota anyway, we'll just have to wait and see.

    GO GOLOTA!

I'm possitive they were friends at one time. I've seen pictures of them going skiing together and getting **** faced at bars with the wives. Golota also went to many of Adamek's fights to support him. One in particular was in Germany when Adamek beat Ulrich. They replayed Golota-Brewster debacle on the big screen to antagonize Golota. Are the two no longer friends?

    Same here.
    :cheers

I look forward to reading your book. :good

I sincerely hope that Adamek gets Hopkins or Jones and that Golota ultimately gets one last crack at Valuev.

No, I think they're still friends. I could be mistaken, but based on what Ziggy was saying, it sounded more like a matter of both men having a competitive spirit.

At one point, Ziggy joked that "I have two sons--Andrew and Tomasz--and I have my three daughters."

I'm pretty sure Ziggy also mentioned that Golota was the one who first introduced him to Adamek.

Regardless, I do not want to see this fight.

    :smoke

PS-If anyone is interested, I posted some pics from the training session in the Adamek Express.

G-Force is just that. A FORCE that cannot be stopped. It is completely out of our hands. And that is the BOTTOM LINE, BUCK.
