How else can they make the fight if not TALK?, they fight their mandatories like Pavlik fought his and continue to mention who they want to fight. You're bringing up Pavlik leftovers(who are journeymen too) as better opponents is pathetic. When Pavlik fights mandatories it's perfectly fine but when Abraham does it he's a disgrace. :nut

Anyway, the way it seems it was Abraham who wanted the fight more and was always publicly turned down for various excuses you loved to believe.

All the above respective fighter you mention chapel, are VERY easy to find/hit, especially froch and andrade, with arthur moving up, would not you think his power is going to be even more lethal?

When his team says they have trouble making weight then they really mean it. They were having trouble even before announcing it, now that it's getting out of hand they had to make it public and Pavlik's team miraculously found the "courage" to accept the fight.

Scar I do find it somewhat interesting, the way arthur was not known in the states was what arum was giving us everytime arthurs name came up, but ALL OF A SUDDEN now they are ready to fight when arthur announces he is moving up, AND his weight issues was known for quite a while, little baffling to me.:huh

These are bigger men. My guess is that AA would experience some of the same problems Julian Jackson did when he moved from 154 to 160.

I believe Abraham would still be world class, but tops of the division? Highly doubtful.

If he announces that he's moving up in weight then watch for Pavlik's team to say he's running. :rofl If he calls out Pavlik though, watch for Pavlik's team to tell him to fight Branco McKart or Zuniga in attempts to be more popular in the USA.

Yeah I agree with you, I never said he is going to top the division, I DID SAY, he has a decent chance against ANY of the top fighters, including Kessler and Bute.

EXACTLY man, ANYONE can see through this. It's RIDICULOUS for anyone to doubt what's going on here unless you're a Pavlik nut polisher, these guys are crooks and are exposing themselves. Expect them to show even MORE interest now that they know the man has issues with weight. Arum doing what he does best.

Nope, we never did. Last thing we heard from Arum regarding Abraham is that Abraham is an unknown who needs to have more fights in the USA to make this possible.

Looks like having issues making the weight achieves superstar status for Arum and Pavlik.

Pavlik and Abraham can both beat Froch; mainly because he is so damn hittable.

Kessler would outbox AA pretty easily. Pavlik/Kessler is the ultimate jabbing contest. Kessler's jab; a bit quicker and probably stiffer. Pavlik's jab; WAY more versatile. Pavlik/Kessler is one of the best fights that could be made, but I would want KP to have a couple good wins at 168 beforehand.

Pav wins a clear UD over Andrade. Kelly and Librado have a lot in common stylistically, but KP does pretty much eveything better. Abraham loses a UD to Andrade.

Bute bothers me because the best southpaw on Pav's record is a shopworn McKart. However, stylistically Pav and andrade have a lot in common but KP is better all the way around, and we saw what happened in Bute/Andrade.

They never wanted to fight him anyway, it was obvious for a long time and their styles is the reason. Especially after the Hopkins catastrophe, Arum doesn't want to take any chances hence the Sturm choice. Don't get me wrong, Sturm has a GREAT chance but doesn't have the tools to knock Pavlik out cold like Abraham does so even if they lose there they can still crawl back with their image intact in comparison to being knocked silly.
