donaire couldn't sleep the night when darchinyan beat arce. Donaire said that he saw a lot of flaws in darchinyan's style and that he didn't really improve

Nonito is too skilled and slick for Vic. Vic did not even win a round in the previous fight. That's why I don't understand why some posters choose Vic to win in a rematch. Donaire will knock him out again in 3 rounds.

    Vic has outgrown Nonito.

Donaire better start forcing the issue and making the rematch a viable option for Vic...or the business of boxing will swallow up another talented fighter in the Filipino Flash.

:deal Might take a little longer than three rounds, but Vic has no answer for Donaire's size and skill. No answer whatsoever.

When it comes to Shaw I think it is generally hatred of a guy he perceives to have stabbed him in the back:

This is what really pisses me off about boxing at times- a guy blatantly standing in the way of what the fans want. I think if Darchinyan does beat Agbeko, not as sure a thing as everyone is making out, then he'll go for Montiel and Hasegawa as he mentioned trying to unify the bantamweight division the other day as well. If he does win all of those fights, and that's a big IF, then the Donaire fight must be the only one left. If he loses against Agbeko then it's back down to Super Flyweight and a rematch with Donaire straight away, IMO.

Yeah shaw is a bitter old ****...But he has been burnt before.

I could understand why he would be if he put time and money into creating careers for fighters then they **** off somewhere else once they are bigger.

That bull**** with Naveraz really pissed him off.

Why would Shaw want Vic to fight Donaire? I don't see anyway he can win that fight. Their first fight was not even competitive, it was Vic lunging in and missing, getting hit with monster left hand after monster left hand until he eventually went to sleep. I'm not surprised Vic's promoter says no, but the real reason is because Nonito is all wrong for his man.

Irrespective of whether Darchinyan can win the fight or not, this simple fact remains: the fans want to see the fight. Sadly, the fans are the last people considered when it comes to matchmaking. The rematch would be a hell of a lot easier to make if Shaw wasn't such of a vindictive ****, though. I do understand Shaw being a bit pensive at the thought of Vic fighting Donaire again but I still wanna see it. As do many others, which has clearly been echoed in this thread!

It's not Donaire's fault, Shaw cant find a fight for him so donaire did what he had to do rather than become stagnant..

Perhaps some jaded fans who believe it would be a competitive equation want to see the fight, but not me. Nonito has bigger fish to fry.

Yeah it probably isnt..but its not as though Donaire is raking in the cash and fighting the biggest names now either.

Money is beside the point. The issue is Darchi is so scared to face Donaire again.

That why he went to the Philippines to fight Gorres (who nearly beat Montiel), took on a p4p guy in Mijares, has been calling out Vasquez and is now moving to bantamweight to try to become a 3 division champ.

    What a *****

Vic called out Donaire seconds after he lost their fight...but it didnt come off so he moved up a division and dominated it. Whilst Nonito has been sitting back counting his pennies.

Well that is your opinion and you're entitled to it. Judging by the reaction to this thread I'd say that there were, by your standards, a lot of 'jaded' fans out there that still want to see the fight, though.

And he wont be frying them.

Fact is he is still a small fish and the clout of that win has long since fizzled out.
Somehow Arum thinks putting him on a PPV against Cazares will be viable..Id be surprised if it is...Then we will see what Bob wants to do with him.
