Roach agrees on 145 pounds for pac-cotto but wants 70-30 % purse split for Pacs

i've heard Cotto comes into the ring about 160lbs, possibly over.. If this is true and if he can bounce back from 145lbs (which sounds realistic) to over 160lbs I think Pac has serious problems on his hands. Cotto isn't Hatton and he won't be susceptible to the same game plan.

 

70-30 is too greedy and kinda disrespectful. As much as Roach wants Pac to earn more than his previous fight, it should not be all about Pac. But I do think he is just using it as an excuse to gain some leverage at the bargaining table and hopefully end up 65-35 which is much more reasonable.

 

70/30 is a slap in the face of Cotto. Pacquiao is the number 1 p4p but Cotto is the ww champion and is a good draw himself. I mean damn his ppv buys vs freaking Margarito was 450k and Margarito is not even a ppv draw while Pacquiao last 2 ppv buys were against 2 ppv draws in De la hoya and Hatton.

 

70/30 is FAIR .. Cotto should be lucky that he is the one pacman picked..

Give me your reasons why 70/30 is fair? Take away the De la hoya and Hatton fights cause both are big draws and Pacquiao is not a superstar ppv draw. Cotto did 450k vs unproven ppv draw in Margarito for goodness sake in which proves 70/30 is a slap in the face. Cotto is also putting his belt on the line. 60/40 in Pacquiao favor is way more fair.
