when Vitali destroys Valuev, who is the heavyweight champ?

Vitali would have the best claim, the brothers need to fight to resolve it, but if they did I see Vitali letting Wlad win, he loves him and seems to be happier for him to be champ than for himself. Therefore with that in mind I feel that Vitali will retire after beating Valuev, leaving Wlad as the only claimant to the throne and by default, the champ without ever beating the champ or the number 2 ranked guy in the division. This is the curse of the Klits!

 

Easy it's the klits brothers since both will be hold each 2 seperate titles. How is it so hard to figure out that Vitali and Wlad are the brothers best heavyweights right now?

Both are isn't that hard to understand? The heavyweights don't need 1 undisputed champion. Why can we have 2 best heavyweights that are brothers that hold all title belts? If one lose then other is the number 1 best heavyweight.

 

It's vacant now, and it will still be vacant then. #1 has never fought #2, and hence no lineage. The Ring can give out their title to Wlad, and that's good enough for me for now, but fact of the matter is that there is no champ and there still will be no champ.

 

But anyway, it's vacant. It was still vacant when beat Chagaev. However, if somehow Valuev won over Vitali, then Wlad becomes the champ by default since Chagaev already had beaten him, therefore Wlad would have a win over a guy who had beaten the WBA champ, the same guy who had beaten the WBC champ, and is already the IBF/WBO champion so he becomes the de facto champion

 

The champs are the klits brothers. Why can't anybody see that? If Vitali beats Valuev then he just like his brother holds both title belts in which both klits are THE heavyweight champions. If Vitali or Wlad lose then one of the brothers ARE THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD.

 

I agree but I would phrase it that there is no no.1 heavyweight in the world because of there refusal to fight each other. "World Champion" is beyond meaningless in boxing nowadays. When we go through the list of greatest heavyweights the Klit's will never seriously be thought of us up there until they go thru a war...and unless Haye proves us all completely wrong this just simply isn't going to happen, the only ATG they faced was an out of shape Lewis and he still won (to my knowledge, I'm kinda ignorant about the Klit's aside from there last few fights).

They plain and simply need to fight each other, no serious boxing historian will value the Klit's as ATG's unless they fight and beat the best which they clearly are not prepared to do. When you make a case for them as ATG's, not taking the best fight available to them because "Mommy" said not too is not going to be an excuse.

The brothers want to be Champions together...that's their dream and they are realizing it. Why can't you just be happy for them?

On topic, Wlad would still be #1 since he just beat the guy who already beat Valuev...and we all know Valuev is **** anyway. Funny, in fact, that had Wlad fought Valuev there would be 1000 joke threads and hate poured on him, that he only fights tomato cans and fake champions, while apprently Vitali beating Valuev is some sort of an accomplishment.
