According to fightnews Vitali is looking to fight Valuev in september...I'm getting the feeling Hayes gonna have no choice but to fight for his right to a title shot after all!! Looks like his chance of talking his way to a crack at the title has passed!

Well it looks like Haye won't get a free pass for getting a title after doing nothing in the heavyweight division. If Haye believes he's the best fighter in the heavyweight division then prove it by fighting fighters like Ruz, Arreola or Povetkin.

Looks like it. Vitali is fighting Valuev. Wald has Povetkin as a mandatory. Haye has no choice but to fight for the right, or go back to cruiserweight.

About time as I would like to see Haye in there with Arreola, that is a big fight if they promote it right and talk smack about each other and make it into a real bad feeling grudge match. That would be fireworks

Ahh my mouth is watering for that one, Haye beats arreola , then povetkin, then chageav and beats them as comfortably as many say he would , then there would be so much excitment for haye and klitschko to fight since lewis tyson,

It doesn't matter anyway the "ABC Titles" don't mean much at this point. The Klitchkos can sell well in Germany. But every where else around the world. Highly unlikely. Haye should fight in GBP PPVs to make himself known more globally. Him and Ruiz on the card of the Floyd/Marquez fight sounds good.

If he is, I can't say I'll have huge sympathy. It's not like he did a lot to get a shot. I didn't have any huge problems with him getting a fight because it was exciting, but if he has to work his way up the rankings so be it.

I think he's well ranked by one org anyway.

He is definitely gettting locked out, it is his own fault and he deserves it. he doesnt have the sense to get proper backing (setanta) and he pulls out of the fight for money without trying to negotiate something with wlad. He could have gotten paid something for the fight, but instead he pussied out.

Now Wlad isnt going to waste another 6 months on a guy like Haye who is not only stupid and loud mouthed, but a major waste of Wlads prime.

Vitali is going to fight valuev and this will mean Haye will now have been out of the ring for a year straight, the ****** only has 22 fights and he is taking a year off? Wow how less active can you be? He makes Tarver look busy.

Haye blew it when he backed out of the Wlad fight. He's left with scraps now.
RJJ was hands down the best fighter in the world, a phenomenon, when he stepped up to fight Ruiz. Haye is not even close to best pfp, and is a phenomenon in his own mind only.

Haye had his chance and he lost it. If it was by injury or not, life goes on. If Haye is as good as he says, then he should have NO PROBLEM getting a title shot like all other boxers do, by beating the top dogs.

Time will tell if he can
