Klitschko`s major flaw is the way he panics when a punch is thrown at him and lunges in to grab onto the kneck and lean on the kneck and back of the opponent as seen against Thomson and Peter in the vids below. Thats why he boxes well against someone like Chagaev who is short, he can keep them at the end of the jab and they will rarely throw anything. A tall guy with a reach will illicit the grab reflex and panic in Wlad that makes him vulnrable. Against Thomson he actually ran behind Thomson several times and held him around from his back in an illegal tactic to evade punches. Watch him grab around the kneck and lean down also. Usually opponents accept his clinch which allows Wlad to regain breath and confidence. To beat Wlad you have to shake him up in his comfort zone, in the clinch!
By the way. The Thomson video clips are only from the first 3 rounds! I lost the will to live after seeing how many clinches he iniated in those 3 rounds, so to go through the whole fight was a task too far lol.

he's somewhat robotic, can't find fight in the inside, he's never really faced a boxer who can get past his jab...well except Corrie Sanders.

I agree with the mentioned flaws. IMO another flaw is him pawing with the jab and leaving it out sometimes. Anyone with speed can make use of it and weave/jump inside with powerpunches. Corrie Sanders landed some great blows at the start of the round this way. Luckily for wlad there are no hw's anymore with true speed. The hw's that tried it were so slow that Wlad could easily pull his body back and grab/hold. But the flaw is still there and another Corrie Sander would in the same way achieve the same result: brutal ko.
Wlad's 1 basic flaw is dealing with aggresive punchers no matter how limited, old, or shape they are in he struggles, as proven with Peter, Sanders and Brewster.
yeah but both those guys can take a hell of punch. they were able to absorb the punch and keep coming forward. You haterz think Haye can do that? lol and guess what? wlad still won the fights and keeps getting better :yep
Wlad's flaw is that there is a small thermal exhaust port that leads right to his main reactor. An attack of squadron of one-manned fighters can fly down the trench and take him out with a proton torpedo... or was that the Death Star? I get the two confused.
Wlad sure did look scared in the Peter fight, his panic attacks that night were funny as hell. There is a youtube video on about Wlad, it's entitled "Octopussy", which I thought was a very fitting name for Wlad.
Great post man. You have to give wlad credit he knows he can't take a punch. Wlad will go down for good if haye connects. Want happen this year wlad already has his next tomato lined up (povetkin)
