Sergio Martinez vs Paul Williams. Who wins and why?

margarito tko'd martinez... is it unfair to use that fight as any barometer in a fight with pw?

especially seeing how martinez isnt a big ko artist... pw will prolly just chase his ass around and try to ko him and if he doesnt ko him hell just ud him

 

you cant use the Margarito fight cus Martinez was still green. Martinez is a totally different fighter today and i think at 154 will give PW his toughest fight.

 

i like martinez to but physically, williams has too many tools. you have to have INCREDIBLE patience and dedication to a game plan to truly trouble him: as been said, move in and out, give angles, punching variety, constant feinting and body work. it can be done but i don't think martinez has the speed of foot to do it but his punching variety will trouble paul for a number of rounds.

 

fair enough... that fight was pretty early in sm's career.. i still think martinez wont be able to handle pw... pw is too much all together, too many punches, too many strang angles & too good of an athlete conditioning wise i mean... martinez is good and all but i like pw close but clear or by a late tko

 

i gotta go with Paul on this one, even though Martinez is a superb boxer Paul wins on sheer activity

 

that cuban kid Lara can probably give Paul some problems, I think

Wait a couple years and lara is going to be something special. Don't pit him with PW right now...too early imo

That is a damn interesting fight.....why doesn't Williams pursue that?

He is always crying about no one wants to fight him....I am pretty sure
Martinez would take him up on that...the way he kicked Cintron's ass I think
he will give Williams a run for his money!!!!
