You are on the hook for the cost of the event if the tickets don't sell. Something David thought he couldn't do in England I guess.

Haye should have fought if he really wasnt injured and thats the bottom line. He could have talked with Wlad and they might have figured something out. Haye would have been pursued to show cause had the entire event been cancelled. Haye should be kissing Chagaev's ass for stepping in

Wlad gets the money from 2 broadcasters Haye gets 1
Im sorry but i find the whole stamford bridge thing hard to swallow.(just makes no sense)
Wlad gets all the ticket sales and a rematch clause if he loses. (haye doesnt)
How is that not in Wlads favor.?

    Exactly correct

I can tell you, Wlad was very nervous with 60,00 seats to try and fill. It was a risk that David refused to take.... why Wlad gets blasted for getting the ticket sales for a stadium he personally guaranteed is beyond me

Mate no disrespect to you. But i could walk to the doctors tomorrow and get a note for a back injury as you cant prove otherwise.
So that kind of makes it worthless anyway.

we were talking about $$$ not rematches (which are totally common for voluntary defenses, and the other with Vitali was HAYE"S idea)

Why should Wlad give anything from his own TV contracts? Haye could have had 50% of the ticket sales but he didnt want to risk 1 dime on the stadium...who's fault is that

Hey dont get me wrong im not blasting him for the ticket sales.
    Fair play to him.
Im just saying that Stamford bridge holds just over 40k and even half full 20.000 ticket sales is better than no ticket sales.
So why in his right mind would he not take that option and get the home support.
And bare in mind he got 25.000 people in th 02 arena for the Enzo fight who is nowere near the draw that Wlad is.
It just does not add up.

But im pretty sure they sent a doctors report to the Klits stating that he would be ok to fight from the 14th of next month.

Thats the question we asked Haye. Why wouldnt he get the stadium? Haye said he didnt want the risk and told Wlad you do it...so he did.

dont know why he wouldnt do it

Well if thats the case thats ****ing stupid on his behalf.
As he would have filled that stadium no problem.
Its not just haye thats the draw.
Wlad has a fan base here as well plus his traveling support.

    no.
    NOTHING

Everything was by phone from booth

1st..Haye pulls out through his lawyer..no reason stated

That night... media says his Hand was injured

Next morning RTL says to us.."booth said it was Haye's ankle"

Later that next day...Booth finally calls...24 hours after Haye pulls out and says "David hurt his back, we are out 3 weeks but havent seen the specialist yet"

Next day...48 hours after pull out...Booth calls...says "david out minimum 7-8 weeks but still havent seen the specialist"

We tell botth we will move on..thats it... still no proof of anything

    unproffesional from the begining

Im not going to pretend that i know what went on behind the scenes but im sure Haye wouldnt pull something like that unless he had a very valid reason to do it.
I think a lot of is down to Booth not taking control of things propperly but im sure Haye would not jepodise the biggest fight of his career unless he really had to.
I honestly think he stood to lose a fortune with the whole setanta thing.
