"I don’t want to leave it to the judges and if it does, I want to beat him so bad that the judges will have a ton of explaining to do.” I am out to destroy him and with all due respects to his ability (he is a good fighter and can be top in the future) this is my time and I plan to take complete control”. Whether it is in 1 or 12 rounds, I’ll be the winner."

    Lets hope so Eddie.

Chambers has the better skills, but Shittytrenko is just wrong for him. Shittytrenko by UD.

Dimitrenko is a complete fighter . . . he has a good defense and accurate counter punching ability so Chambers might have problem cracking him up.

    It's gonna go the distance and it's a 50/50 fight . . . I'm picking Dimitrenko in a close decission . . . maybe an SD.

Dimitrenko is going to win this one in a somewhat close match.

All Eddie really has is the jab, straight right. It troubled Povetkin , who showed rare motivation for a Russian and rallied late to outhustle Chambers down the line. Eddie has improved a bit since, and Dimitrenko isn't on the level of Povetkin. Unless Eddie gets docile like he did in the later rounds against Povetkin, he should win, no problem.

Problem is, Chambers surprise punches who were really untelegraphed which he landed flush on Povetkin won't land on Dimitrenko for the huge reach disadvantage. Dimitrenko doesn't swarm using hooks like Povetkin (for which he needed to come closer), he will use long jabs from the far outside to bank rounds not going much risk. An aggressive Krasniqi backed up Dimitrenko, looking good until the body punch out of nowhere, but Chambers won't be that aggressive.

My take is, when Chambers lands such a surprise, there will be a good deal of "ooohs" in the audience, but they will be few, not enough to win 7 rounds out of 12. When he fades late, Dimitrenko will step up the pace, giving Chambers a good amount of work to avoid getting stopped (cuts/exhaustion/body punches).

In the gym, Eddie really does have some fast hands. And some great defensive moves for a HW. His punching power isn't huge but he isn't a very big guy at all.

Wasn't there a rumored Chambers-Johnson match at some point? I wonder if that's still on the table if Eddie gets by Dimitrenko and Kevin gets by Solis. :think

Most likely because if Chambers beats Dimitrenko he will be the mandatory for Wlad's WBO belt. But Wlad will most likely fight Povetkin and keep his IBF title than fight the winner of Chambers/Dimitrenko, during that time Chambers wants to stay busy he could fight Kevin Johnson. But if Chambers beats Dimitrenko I don't think he would want to give up his mandatory spot.

 @ Johnson as Chambers' "stay-busy".

I got KJ over Eddie all day...been saying it for some time. :deal

Although Chambers has certainly made himself the bigger name thus far so I guess as far as boxing politics that makes sense for Johnson to be seen as a potential "opponent" (although I tip him as a pretty heavy favorite, personally).

True KJ is a high-risk low reward and because of that, I doubt the fight will happen anytime soon. But you will see a much less passive and more aggressive Chambers when he fights Dimitrenko, and if they ever fought, Chambers would not take KJ lightly.
