If Cotto Managed To Get By Margarito The Likely hood would have been that Cotto & Oscar De La Hoya Would Have Squared Off.... I doubt the fight would have been at welterweight... I'm Assuming it would have either been at 150 or 154...

Hmm, assuming Oscar's performance against Pac was him being shot rather than drained I would have to assume we'd see the same Oscar that fought Mayorga and Floyd in which case I'd pick Oscar by ko, probably in the 9th.

If the Oscar that loss to Pac wasn't dealing with weight drain but rather, as Roach said, just couldn't pull the trigger anymore, then I have Cotto winning this by lat ko.

I think the fight wouldn't go the distance,

but if oscar who fought pac man... cotto could win...

it would be a war though.. especially at 154 seeing how cotto doesnt have concussive power & oscar has never been put down.. it would be a crazy fight

 

If Cotto beat Margarito everyone would pick him to beat DLH at 154, I would have picked him over DLH there too, not sure what might have happened.

If he won the fight would have been at 154. DLH moved down for Pac because Pac wasn't going to move up three weight divisons, moving up two was already ridiculous.
