    He's got a 5 fight contract right?

He's bound to fight Cotto between those fights.Or Mosley or anyone else.

    ^^^

I'm not sure what I believe. 5 fights will take, what 2.5 years? Anything can happen in that time...

Hopefully Floyd Marquez still happens as I want to see Marquez in a huge fight.

What? Marquez Hatton I hope you mean....?

If that is what you mean, then yes that would be good for Marquez as he would pick up a fat cheque, pick up LOADS of new fans and pick up another KO win.

One could argue that the retirement was just a front to avoid the real fights. And a big ass duck move itself.

So Hatton is fully allowed to headbutt, shove, elbow, rabbit punch, punch behind the head, clinch at winn for as long as he wants, hold and hit, low blow and tackle all night and still have the fight close on scorecards?

Hatton could have body slammed Tszyu to the canvas that night and Tszyu would get a point deducted for it.

I'm 33. Been watching him since the amateurs days and his lightweight days, but we are talking about now. He hasn't showed me nothing except he is a very protected fighter these days.

These days?, he has been retired "these days" and as far as I remember his last two fights earned him fighter of the year in 2007. His last two "protected" fights were also Pacquiao's last two fights.

His next opponent is Marquez who is P4P#2 and according to a five fight deal he signed it's hard to imagine he won't fight Mosley or Pacquiao next as it's obvious he wants the big money fights and those two provide it easily. Think about it, who else will he fight if not those guys?, Berto?, Collazo?

Ok ur a Mayweather fan so let me say this. In 2007 he beat a blown up Hatton in which if you look at my previous post you will find a clear definition of why I said that. I am not typing that all over again. DLH was past his prime but to me that is no excuse, I knew DLH would not win but it went to a split decision after that. So what was left? In the division @ the time you had Cotto-undefeated, Cintron-undefeated, Williams-undefeated, Mosley, Margarito, Berto, Clottey. Did I name them all? He ducked all of them and knew his next fight would be a DLH rematch or one of them, so he jumped bail. Now Cotto has a lost, Cintron has 3 I think, Williams is a MW, Margarito just got trounced. Then he comes back and wanna do a fight with a guy who needs to gain 15 lbs to fight @ welter just so he can have a tune up fight? Mosley calls him out but his excuse is his 5 losses and Maquez have 4? Man come on. If ur a WW, fight WW and stop telling fighters(Hatton and Marquez) to blow themselves up so you can fight them. He has been in the WW division for over 3 yrs and have yet to put a single dent in it. Division hopping is such bull****.
