Well said, It's all about promotion & making a pile ov safe cash along the way hence Warren will allways do well for his charges & not put-em in unnecessary danger (Except Khan/Presscot) Hatton fans just better get used 2 the idea that there is & allways has been a dangerous rival 2 Hatton & that is Witter + all Ricky has 2 do is shut Witter up in the ring, simple!!! I recall about 5/6 years ago Hatton said he'd fight witter after being called out at ringside & Hatton said YES but Warren made sure his cash cow was not put at risk, common sense, this is a bizzness.

    MAX REWARD/MIN RISK.

What did the Bradley fight have to do with Hatton/ Witter? Theres no dodged bullet there, the fight had been dead in the water for 3 years by that point.

:deal This. It's a shame to see what this board has descended into, the same old trolls coming out with the same old boring, repetitive attempts to attack a high-achiever week in week out. The very definition of a hater. Ah well, I've told it how it is in my previous posts and am not going to get back into the same old boring crap, because people just repeat the same bollocks over and over again despite constantly being put straight on it. I suppose if you say "the sky is green" enough times, some idiots will start to take it as fact. If Junior Witter is the best ammo they've got it doesn't say very much.

Your slagging off of Witter to justify your butt-kissing views on Hatton puts you in the same group pal. Why the **** one has to be brought up when the other is mentioned I don't know, but it is ****ing annoying.

Whats your obsession with Witter and the Donny Dome? Witter has fought twice there, precisely once more than Hatton :deal

Okay I'm being slightly flippant about that, in the same way that people used to bang on about Calzaghe fighting at the Cardiff Ice Rink.

I don't dislike Witter and will root for him when he's fighting. However, what I do dislike is the way that a few of the usual suspects who don't have any particular affiliation to him will use him as a pawn to continue to have a pop at Hatton. Witter is a good fighter in his own right and deserves better than to be remembered solely as a footnote to Hatton's career. That is why one has to be brought up when the other is mentioned, because there are a core of about a dozen people on this board who constantly start or hijack threads for no reason other than to have a pop at Hatton. (this thread being a classic case and point) In addition to completely making things up out of the air in order to try and justify their irrational hate. I'll give you a classic example, a certain poster on this thread has claimed that Castillo "was only fighting for the money to pay his debts". Unless said poster is Castillo's wife or something, how the hell would he/she know that?

I'll admit now I've probably gone over the top in the way I made some of my points about Witter, however, I don't think there's anything I've said which is outrageous or factually incorrect (allowing for possible differences in perception).

And no, it does not put me in the same group or even anything close to it. The day I start making 500 threads banging on about Corley being shot when the fight was three years ago or spending hours trawling the internet for any interview with him that contains any hint of an inconsistency or claiming everything from his girlfriend's tears are false to he's lying about which football team he supports is the day you can compare me to some of those weirdos. How on earth can you take anyone seriously who comes out with comments like those?

I don't kiss anyone's butt, however, will defend any fighter I like against hating and having a pop for the sake of it. It just so happens that as Hatton is far and away the most popular fighter in the UK at the moment, he gets more than anybody. Certainly more than guys like Witter, Clinton Woods etc... who are good, honest, world level operators, but who few outside the hardcore give a stuff about. You might say the same about other popular/successful British sporting stories. Some of the stick Andy Murray or Lewis Hamilton get for example? It's no coincidence that the two most disliked teams in football at the moment are Man United and Chelsea, the last two teams to have won the league.

Having said that, I will give credit to the bindippers as they are doing their best to take that crown despite having won f*** all for the last 3 years!

Fair comment, and thanks for the clarification

This is fairly typical of the quality of the average post from one of the we-hate-Hatton mafia on this board. After every single point being conclusively shown to be bull****, it simply comes back to "I'm right, you're wrong ner-ner-ner-ner-ner can't hear you". Plus petty personal name calling. Some of the new posters who have only started watching boxing over the last year or so may be able to be fooled into believing black is white and repeating it ad infinitum. The real boxing fans who know what goes on in the sport and reward achievement and desire to take on the best will simply sit back and laugh.
