Tyson Fury reminds me of Jerry Cooney

martin rogan has a better chance to beat wlad then fury does at this stage....

i think that is an insult to Cooney at this stage. Cooney beat good boxers before people paid attention to him. So far, all Fury has is a good pr team. I'll wait till he fights someone with a pulse before I get excited about him.

You are partly right. He wears his opponent down with clubbing shots, while not being a huge one punch knock out artist. I'm not so sure he has the mean attitude and chin that Vitali has though...

I've been saying he reminds me of Vitali for a while now. I'm willing to bet he has a pretty good chin as he is a gypsy.

 

Nah..Martin Rogan will lost TKO3..Fury is skilled and speedy big man..he can give bad problems to wlad, but it probably takes a couple years

Cooney only beat up shot, former contenders. He hasn't beaten a currently ranked top10 opponent in his entire career. The man had some talent going for him, but to say someone else is overhyped compared to him, is laughable. Cooney is the epitome of an overhyped boxer.

 

You can laugh but this guy will be exremely dangerous in a couple of years. I'd fancy him against a few of the top 10 heavy's already, not that that's saying much :bart And he's only 20.
