Shut up nuthugger. Cotto REALLY fights whoever Arum puts in front of him, he doesn't pick on opponents. He's very professional and lets the promoter do it's job, it's that simple. PacMan-Cotto was Arum's idea and it came up like a dead body at thaw when Mosley KO'd the Margacheato-Cotto rematch in January.

Cotto-Pac is the sole Top Rank only superfight available right now, and all Arum wants is to keep 100% of the promoters income, and he's ready to sarcifice one of his cash cow for one fat paycheck.

It's actually PacMan and Roach who plays the picking game. If he's looking for welterweight glory, put pressure on Arum and fight Mosley at 147 pounds, but you know, we know that's never going to happen. Roach calculates Cotto as a risk worth taking since Cotto isn't the fastest fighter out there, fairly easy to hit, has a suspect chin, mediocre stamina, a sucker to double-triple left hand shots/uppercuts, cuts easily and would be drained at 144-145, so it's a risk worth taking for his WW title. Mosley is a much more complete fighter overall, no stamina, cut, chin or serious defensive issues.

I rooted against Cotto the last time, but one thing you can't say about Miguel: he's picking on smaller fighters. He just goes into training and then fights whoever Arum negotiated for him, he doesn't play promoter unlike other fighters.

So why that guy said Gossen offered a lot of money to cotto to fight Williams, a fighter that i don't think had even won a million in a fight.

Who gives a **** about who you root for, you been an unfair critic to Pacman ever since the 2nd Barrera fight. And quit making bull**** about what fighters intentions are, Pacman playing the picking game giv me a freaking break. Pacman isnt fighting the welters for welterweight glory, hes fighting them because thats where all the big fights are at, there is nothing at 140.

Then fight welterweights at welterweight. No one is bigger than the sport to demand stupid catchweight fights, not Hopkins, not De La Hoya, not Mayweather and yes, not even Pacquiao.

If you know me so well, you should know I'm against PacMan's WW return anyway, he doesn't deserve risking a serious beating vs. a guy who comes in at 160 pounds fight night. But if PacMan wants a WW because of no other fight is possible, then fight the WW at WW and you nuthuggers shut your mouth discrediting the opponent, when Cotto is the one forced to drain himself.

Miguel doesn't pick fights, he fights who Arum puts in front of him, so apologise to Cotto in an open letter.

Don't know about money offers but even if they did offer Arum won't take it as he obviously has better/safer options that would benefit his stable.

That what warriors do, you critize Cotto for doing that, and you have an expert in doing that in Mayorga. Umm I see a little of Cotto hating here.

Why does Manny take heat for moving up 5 lbs and Cotto doesnt for moving down 2lbs. If Cotto is so high and almighty why doesnt he just tell Pacman to **** off and if he wants the fight move up to the full 147? Why has Mosely been so insistent that Pacman fight him in the last few weeks? Its the welterweight division that needs Pacman more than vice versa, atleast Pacman is willing to meet in the middle against these guys if they are that desperate for the fight. Pacman could easily hide at 140 and tell these guys to move down to his weight class since they want the fight more than he does.

maybe because hes a professional fighter who wants to make some money? because he wants to challenge a guy that in his second last fight fought in his weight category? to fight the consensus p4p no.1?

He knows that Pacman is not a fully welterweight and he can make 145 lbs, but no more He says in a interview that if the fight is not at 145 +, **** off. Was already posted here on ESB. He move down 2 pounds becasue fans wanted the fight and still he could make a lot of money.

Everybody knows De La Hoya was seriously drained and now they are forcing Cotto to drain himself too? Pac deserves shitloads of credit for even thinking fighting a real WW, because he doesn't need to take such a risk. HUGE CREDIT MISTER PACQUIAO. But in the meantime, draining the opponent to get an unfair advantage is something I can't give credit for. I can live with Pac-Cotto at 145 though, but that 2 pounds is enough room for a post-fight Cotto excuse. So why not fight him at 147, and not the loudest PacMan critic could say a bad word if he wins?

But this wasn't my point, but your stupid nuthuggery discrediting the opponent. Cotto doesn't pick on smaller guys. He fights whoever Arum puts in front of him, END OF STORY. And if you accept this simple FACT, you'll realize your thread is useless.
