the only factor is still cant put my finger on in this one is how ring rust may have affected pbf. if the pbf that faced hatton was the one who'll be facing jmm, i'd say he'll win comfortably by wide UD.

1 to 4 means thats he's the favorite. IF you're saying that Marquez is paying 4 to 1 on your bet then that means the chances to beat are 20%

I think Marquez is good enough to beat Floyd but I think the size and the style aren't helping him. If Marquez' jab was one of his major strengths, I would favour him.

How can JMM's jab compete with Floyd's jab when Floyd has a 5" reach advantage and a cautious play safe mentality... I can even see Floyd potshooting JMM from range...

You should have a 30-40% option, otherwise way too many people would give him "less than 50% chance" and make it look like Marques is a bigger underdog than he is.

It's strange how a guy that fought two pretty even matches with the guy who was far more convincing than PBF against his last two opponents is such a huge underdog.

I mean, mathematically speaking JMM should be a heavy favorite. But of course styles make fights. And don't tell me Pac would destroy JMM tody - they only fought like 18 months ago.

I don't consider it important since what we are after is to see how many members here who believes JMM will win this fight (giving JMM more than 50%)...

So far there's 2 members who voted "more than 50%"... members buffordtj and Devildoc but they have not yet posted their reasons why they gave JMM more than 50%...

I noticed you voted "50/50", care to explain why?

Marquez in his prime would have boxed Floyd senseless

I give JMM 50/50 due to Mayweather's ring rust.

I think anything can happen, and that if anything, JMM needs to be careful of PBF's counterpunching in the first 2 or 3 rounds. Once things settle down in the middle rounds, he stands to increase his chances.

Isn't it JMM and Floyd basically has the same style? (counterpunchers) IMO, even both of them have the same basic style, Floyd is more versatile with his style since he has excellent defense and good physical abilities that goes with it... In other words, Floyd is the better counterpuncher of the two...

Typical Mayweather he says he wants to fight the best, but he isnt interested in fighting Paul Williams or Shane Mosley. JMM is the right size for PBF i.e much smaller!

DLH was shot to ****; Mayweather is in his prime!

and pacquaio is a completely different type of fighter than Marquez, one that can take full advantage due to his offense style
