I am just going by what was in Gerry Callan's boxing page so if anyone was to know it would be him.

As for RTE and the fights they show with all the cost cutting going on at RTE it will be hard for them to fork out so much money on fights at the moment. If Setanta stay on air there is every chance that they will buy up the rights to the fights if the viewers tune in for the Hylands fight there is a high chance they will take a risk.

I get the feeling Dunne will be too dear for them and may price himself out of fighting in Ireland. I got the feeling after the Cordoba fight Peters was looking to the US for the next fight we will find out soon enough.

Yeah this could be the shot in the arm fight coverage needs,Smaller shows around Ireland being covered by setanta,Like friday night fights on sky,It would really make it easier for the hylands,Gary Hyde, Dolphil etc to put on more shows..Peters may even do some smaller ones to keep his boxers busy...

i am a bit dissapointed at the standard of opponents the hylands are matched against...imo theyre records are very poor especially the hevison lad.

It holds roughly 2,750 give or take, and i reckon it will be a sell out,
The Hylands are big ticket sellers in dublin and especially in tallaght where they are from, and the fact the ticket price are reasonible enough i cant see why it wouldnt be a sell out.

well honestly who would you put them in against, first thing is there isnt thousands of people who are eligible for the titles
i think we should just ring up the pacman or the hattons oh wait we might be able to get paulie to fight mayweather or i think eddie might be able to take 1 of the klitchko brothers and patrick, sure we will just put him in with bernard hopkins,
then hopefully people might think that is acceptable opposition. :patsch

true, a good quality show for a good quality price.
    like its 8 professional fights 2 x 12 rounds, 1 x 8 rounds and 5 x 6 rounds
its going to work out about 5 hours of boxing for as little as 40 quid
