If it's the Cotto that fought Judah, Cotto by KO in 9.

If it's the Cotto that fought Clottey, Pac by KO in 6.

Ya tu sabes brother...the most important thing for me concerning the fight is that it lives up to the hype...my money is hard earned meaning I always cop a feel during a lap dance, fuk the sign that say's "no touching"

    Guys,

The Cotto that fought Clottey won a split decision with 1 eye in 9 of the twelve rounds of the fight getting hit constantly by obviously not being able to see punches coming in most of the time + fighting on a defensive style most of the fight and backwards.

A lot of people think that Margo took something away from Cotto and I think that actually Cotto redeem himself from the Margo ghost that we all put on him.

I am not saying that necesarily Cotto wins and KO's Pac but I wouldn't underestimate hi one bit.

So what if he was cut? Cotto is a proffesional, and considering he seems to cut easily he should know how to deal with it. I don't know about you but I saw Cotto pawing at the cut all night like an amatuer. Regardless of what happens to you in a fight you have to be able to deal with it and adjust, or you fail. I don't have a problem with Cotto getting the decision for the Clottey fight, but imo he looked terrible and Pac would steamroll him if thats the game he's going to bring.

I think that if something goes into your eye it's basic human nature to try to wipe it away regardless of professional or amateur boxer. I think he did deal with it, adjusted and won the fight.

First of all, is the word professional ok....What did you expect Cotto to do with all the blood running down his face, just let it block his even vision more??? And as far as him getting cut easily, I dont which Cotto you have been watching because Ive only seen him cut twice (Margarito and Joshua) so I dont know how you came up with this. You must be thinking of Arturo Gatti...And let me just say this as Ive said before, had not been for the cut Cotto would had dispatch Joshua in less than 6 rounds, I mean the dude went down with a ****ing jab and no it wasnt a flask knock down as many would have you believe....

I'm just wondering what would say if Pacquiao beat Cotto. I beat you'll say that you only went against Pacquiao because you want to see the look on the *******s' face when he loses. lol

    Anyway,back to your "analysis".

1.Pacquiao's speed will not be affected if he only weighs in at 142 and then hydrates to 148-149.
    2. I don't believe that Oscar was weigh drained/ dead at weight. If you watched the 24/7 you'll notice that Oscar was already below the weigh a month before the weigh in. Oscar body set point changed. You can bash me for saying that but whatever.
You said that Oscar was never truly hurt by Manny even though his face was swollen. Tell me if you get stung by a bee will it hurt? If his swollen face is not enough for you, what about when Oscar is wobbling during the mid 7th and 8th rounds.
    3. Good job on discrediting the Hatton and Pacquiao.:patsch Hatton's punch resistance is low.:patsch He was almost KD by lesser fighters. :patsch
    4. You say that most fans believe that JMM beat him but base on what? The forum's belief? The people of the Philippines believe that Pacquiao won. There are millions of people there plus the others believe that Pacquiao won. I on the other hand thought the fight was a draw. Barerra 2 -- Barerra "hardly" hurt Pacquiao. All he did was run around the ring trying to survive.

Let's look at Cotto and Pacquiao closely.
Cotto moves forward but he tends to move backward when he pressure his opponents ,hence, his loss against Margarito. Don't say that Margarito cheated during the fight since there is no proof that he used plaster during the Cotto fight. He showed weakness against Clottey and Pacquaio saw that.

Pacquiao's weakness is that he gets overly agressive and gets out of balance from time to time.

    Size advantage-Cotto
Of course he has the size advantage. I mean he will probably weigh 155 or 160 during the fight night. Pacquiao will only be at 148 -150.

    Speed-Pacquiao
Pacquiao has the speed advantage over Cotto. I'm not saying that Cotto is slow; I'm just saying that Cotto is relatively slower than Pacquiao.

    Timing- Pacquiao/Cotto
I can't really decide on this one. Pacquiao has good timing now. He is not the same boxer who fought Marquez.

    Defense- Pacquiao
Judging by his last 3 fights. I believe that Pacquiao foot work and reflexes has improved greatly! He is using his right hand to effectively to measure his opponent.

    Ring Genarlship-Pacquiao
Pacquiao has an average defense and has his inhuman speed. Pacquiao can move from side to side. Pacquaio has a better foot work than Cotto.

    Power- Cotto
I believe that Cotto has the power advantage. Cotto is bigger than Pacquiao.

    Endurance - Cotto

The KD from JMM 2 was happened because he responded to Pacquiao's feint and BOOM counter and he is down on the canvas on his back!

I believe that Pacquiao will let Cotto chase him in the earlier round just like the Hatton and Hoya fight and then retaliate in the later round. He will pressure Cotto and corner him against the ropes. And you're right Pacquiao is no longer the storm that he used to be. He pick his shots and LAND them.

Here is how I see the fight is going to happen. Cotto will move forward in the earlier round. Pacquiao will let Cotto chase him and punch only when necessary and land 3-5 punch combinations. Cotto will realized that he can't he touch and hurt Pacquiao cleanly and he will move back. Pacquiao will take advantage of this and he will cut Cotto off. He will draw Cotto into a brawl and Pacquiao's superior speed will prevail. :bbb :bbb

Pacquio by KO between the 6-9th round. If not Pacquiao by decision.

I'm pretty sure Cotto's lower lip was cut up pretty bad in both the Mosley and Judah fights. Maybe you're right and I'm thinking of another fight.

Anyway, it was a legit KD but it was because Clottey was offbalance. Not a Clottey nuthugger or a Cotto hater, but think about it. If Clottey was rocked like that from a jab how did he stay on his toes later on in the fight when Cotto was landing BOMBS square on Clotteys chin?

I'm a Cotto fan, but he had a very poor showing against Clottey and I think if he fights the same way Pac has too much for Cotto to win.

You don't have to be hurt to be knocked down. Cotto timed is punch perfectly. No excuses. If you think about it all knockdowns are from people being off-balance. This is when you're equilibrium is off then your balance will be affected.

Damn near all his opponents had better arm reach...And for some reason he was able to get the better exchanges than most. Not sure what that spells for Pac ;)
