Even if munroe hasnt been tested, He is still ranked by all major boxing bodies so he is eligible to fight, so again its all down to Promoters yet again, And i`m pretty sure Paulie will test him
The three bouts matched so far are interesting alright, the Hyland will beat these guys but will get a good workout out of it i think,Power is always good to watch and his fight against Waldron could well be fight of the night.Paulie will be matched handy i reckon,This will have nothing to do with the Hylands buy because Maloney will get the final call on his opponent i would assume,Spike could do with a decent opponent thats going to test him some at this stage still not sure about spike but he has a wicked bang and is exciting,I personally wouldnt mind three latvian ditch diggers for the other three as money will dictate who the Hylands can get in and all the fights cant be 50-50 issues. All in all a good night out anyone know of reasonable hotels in the area.
There is a couple, the plaza in tallaght, the abberley court in tallaght, or even louis fitzgerald hotel, bewleys or the green isle on the naas road all fairly reasonible
Another heads up on the hotel scene, U2 are in croke park friday, saturday and sunday night so you might want to book hotels fairly soon as i think the majority will be booked out that weekend
From what i can gather, the plaza hotel in tallaght are sponsoring the event and are doing a special offer, i think its 50 for the night bed and breakfast basis but i dont know if thats per room or per person but its on the conditition that you produce your fight ticket. ill find out though and let yous know

Guys it will be a ****ing joke if no one shows the mccloskey fight. How is he supposed to get any exposure? I'll hold out some vague hope that BBC NI might get it. but I'm clutching at straws
It would be shocking wouldn't it ?, when Dunne fought Pickering over 600,000 people watched it live and it was the main news story for all that weekend and a major topic for a few weeks after. If McCloskey wins all we'll get is RTÉ sports news reader saying a few sentences while there's a still picture of a boxer(who probably isn't even McCloskey).
Its like mccloskey isn't as spectacular as dunne, so he doesn't get credit. IMO he's the best tecnical boxer we've got
