Atlas said on FNF....that he is going out to Moscow to work with him for 2 weeks, to improve his ring I.Q. and see if hes coachable......

Atlas was contacted by Povetkin's people....

    What you guys think?

I hope this happens... So when Wlad destroys Povetkin, Atlas can take a more personal hit from the Klitschkos. Having the Klitschko brothers prove his prediction wrong every single fight is not entertaining any more.

Povetkin likely won't beat Wlad but he'd do better than some sick guy with Hep C.

It's dumb. Povetkin is ready for title shot, should get one in next year. He got there without Atlas. Now they bring in a guy without a good track record as trainer, who is self-promoter, usually at expense of fighter he trains. Latley, he's trained no one. Teddy picks up a few thousand dollars and a free trip to Moscow for 2 weeks is probably all that will happen. He'll say that he had 'Integrity issues" about taking job, or some other such bull****.

Atlas is a pretty commentator but is often biased to a fault. I hope Povetkin thinks this through.

Yeah he will come back in two weeks stating that he's mentally weak.

It occurs to me that Povetkin might just be spending a few thousand on advertising also. This is cheaper than actually buying a commercial on ESPN.

I agree on the publicity, also on the 'He's mentally weak" comment. Or Atlas will say he turned down offer because of family, commitments, honor, ESPN, and our sodiers in Iraq.
