Cotto never called out Pacquiao. Cotto first say he accepts the challenge ( in which he accepts the offer to fight Pacquiao. Does that mean Cotto called out Pacquiao?) Pacquiao is the one that told Arum to make Cotto fight happens. This thread is ******ed by a dumb Pacquiao fan. The real person that wanted Cotto vs Pacquiao is BOB FREAKING ARUM.

Nope - (quite some time ago, before Clottey) Cotto asked for Pac. Then recently after Cotto/Clottey, Pac told Arum to make it happen. Right now Pacs the one who said make it happen, but way before all of this Cotto initiated it.

Also - I do agree with you that this thread is from a dumb Pacquiao fan.

 

Basically Cotto doesn't see Pac is a "smaller" fighter, he sees him as the greatest fighter and he's trying to de-throne him. Cotto also was interested in a Mosley rematch, but I think Mosley didn't like that idea.

 

I'm not trying to bash Cotto. that's just my standard I don't consider Floyd Champ at 140 he was a titlist. By your logic now the IBO titlist would be considered Champion bc a champion is a champion and they have their duties. so you got the wbc champ,the wba champ, the ibf, champ, the wbo champ, the ibo champ, the ring champ and the lineal champ. Your boxing world is confusing and void of a true champion.

Im no Cotto fan but give credit were its due, who knows what were in Margo`s gloves in his only loss & he beat Mosely clearly in my eyes who many regard as the best WWT.

Pac is on a hot streak & along with Mayweather can earn Cotto the most $$$$$$.... most are picking Pacquiao in this fight so its make your mind up time, you cant complain Cotto is too big one day then pick Manny to win the next, thats contradiction.

It should be a good fight & may the best man win.

Cotto goes in the direction of where the money is and since he has taken his share of wounds to get there, same thing as Mosley... Happens that you are not quite sure why did Pacquiao go that way - maybe it's cause Cotto puts a whole lot of Ricans and other fans inside MSG and in front of the TV, maybe b'cause Pac is promoted by Arum just like Cotto which makes it easier for both, and there is a doubt why didn't Cotto call out Shane when he took care of Hatton and Cotto was on the waiting list... You gat to see, Shane beat Margo who beat Cotto and Cotto beat Clottey who beat Judah... Something tells me Pacquiao may not want to try it out with Shane when he has Cotto...
