Vitali decked in sparring in 2005 by Travis Walker?

I heard that too but can't confirm it. These rumors always turn out to be true.

 

Not shocking, Walker hits like a mule even though he's a crappy boxer. Doesn't mean he'd have a prayer in a real match.

It's true. I forget which one, but there were two sparring partners that decked Vitali during training camp for his up-coming match against Rahman in late 05. One dropped him with a body shot, the other blasted him in the chin. Rapheal something was his name, and on the way down he messed his knee up and was forced to pull out of the Rahman fight because of it.

 

Raphael Butler? I would be shocked if its him...

I seriously doubt it's true but even if it is, so what? Sparring is just that, practice. You try things in sparring that you wouldn't necessarily do in the actual fight because it's only practice.
