Maidana couldnt stop Kotelnik, what makes people think Khan will ?

Too many people have been seriously underestimating Kotelniks ability. He took the best Maidana had to throw and dealt with it. And won a very close decision. What makes the Khan fanboys think their boy will stop Andriy ?? Id fancy both Maidana and Ortiz to stop Khan, and i think Kotelnik will do the same in 8-10 rounds.

    Peace.

Khan is clearly more polished than Maidana though, and with his superior skills and preciser punches might be better able to land cleaner shots on Kotelnik. I agree though that khan will have to be at his very best to beat Kotelnik, but i think he can win cuz kotelnik's not a puncher.

I\ve used the same argument as my basis for Kotelnik lasting the distance............hometown stoppages or decisions loom IMO................although I have an inkling Kotelnik K.O 10.

If he can land, he can win it's that simple

Khan will destroy Ktelnik and then destroy Maidana.

Khan brings something to the table that Maidana doesn't though: handspeed and combinations. Lots of them. Maidana's only option is to brawl and outwork his opponent, but the smart and defensively-aware Kotelnik wouldn't be baited into a war and and he outboxed him. But can he outbox Khan? Khan has a lot more technical ability than Maidana.

Warren has robbed Kotelnik 3 times, so why he can't do it in 4'th? Kotelnik doesn't make crowds in Germany or Ukraine because his style is boring for most fans. He is slugger who fights only last 30 sec. stealing rounds and rest 2.30 sits behind tough defence like a turtle(ala Whinky Wright). He is great boxer with best defence at 140 but he is unpopular and Kohl just sold him (or his belt, whatever) to Warren, who owns mega-hyped Amir. But still Sergiy has a decent chance to Ko Khan.

That's what you get for holding a British passport. No matter what a bum you are you get hyped into the next galaxy. That's the only way a certified tomato can like Enzo Fraudarinelli could somehow be mentioned as a legitimate contender.

Khan won't ko Kotelnik, of course, but Warren's referee just might.

Kotelnik never has been koed or even being down as amateur and pro, he eated best Witter and Maidana shots and even wasn't close to go down. How the f... Khan is going to knock him out?

Kotelnik blocked a majority of Maidana's punches. He didn't get cracked with the power shots that Ortiz took.

    Good point,karapuz!

All these delusional Khan nuthuggers should stay calm and not count their chickens before they are hatched. That fight has not been won yet.
Khan by ko? As you rightfully pointed out Kotelnik has never been knocked out,and he has shared the ring with bigger punchers than Khan.

Well, fighting on British soil gives the British based Pakistani Khan a cutting edge.Kotelnik wont win a close decision there. He is the defending champ, but that wont mean ****.He doesnt have that many positive memories of his fights on British soil.
They robbed him a deserved victory against Mbaye, against Witter, and would have robbed him of his victory against Rees if he hadnt knocked the Brit out.
