wow and you're so smart that you failed to give any example. also, he isn't a poor trainer. he's a hof trainer. and saying training has anything to do with commentating is ridiculous...just like boxing doesn't. Rjj is not a good commentator, does that mean he is a terrible boxer? no.

i waz analysin yee commentz there and i waz thinkin u must be a poor analyser

    cuzz

there is ONLY one CRITERIA that MATTERz when it comez to manny stewardz abilitiez as a poor or good trainer and that would be from the fighterz that he haz choosen to dedicate a significant amount of hiz training time to

being a GOOD TRAINER is UNRELATED to being a GOOD analyst on camera while the lightz r rollin and everybodyz given u these stupid freakin secret quez and signalz

by the way i agree with u that he is pretty CRAP as a live tv boxin comentator lmao

I like Lewis's fight related comments. The nuts and bolts stuff. He may not be eloquent in the way he says something, but his insight as a fighter is appreciated.

The last two fights he did a great job on analyzing the fight ... he wasn't showing much bias and called the fight (in boxing terms) exactly how it went.

He also spoke good about why Ortiz got knocked out and what he did wrong ... he didn't box or use his jab ... he could've cruised to a UD or late rounds stoppage against this guy.

    Agree.

I like his excitement level too when the action gets hot. Makes for fun viewing. Also, he doesn't hold back either if somebody says something silly.

Emanuel Steward is one of the great men in the history of boxing. It is no fluke he has had an integral contribution to helping construct two of the greatest HWT champs in history Lewis and Klitschko. But that's just part of it, he created one of the most successful gyms, many world champions, is in the Hall of Fame as a trainer, manager and TV commentator.

For any Mickey Mouse to question or criticize a man so respected and accomplished as Emanuel Steward is just ridiculous.

    :good:good:good

He trained many great fighters, one of the greatest Heavyweight ever Lennox Lewis, he helped Wladimir Klitschko to get back on top!

He is a genius and i believe a great person.

What´s wrong with you guys to blame such a great man?

    Unbelievable.

I can't handle Lennox. He's too circular and frequently incoherent. Roy Jones was so, so much better. I like Emmanuel best of all, but Roy was my 2nd favorite. Least favorite of all-time was Foreman. Ugghh.

Two words. Ignore list. He just made mine. People making these kinds of comments simply don't add any value to the discussion.
