While I agree that AA is a bit over rated, it's not fair to claim AA's best win was the first fight against Miranda. There's wasn't anything controversial about the way AA knocked Pantera out in the second meeting.:deal

No- I give him credit for wanting the big fights, you've misunderstood me. I just think he's gonna get found out soon- add to that the fact that Holt dropped the guy twice.

I saw a thread on here this morning stating that Bradley is the best at 140. You surely don't agree with that? That is the kind of thing I am on about, mate.

Sorry bro, I've been watching boxing for over 10 years and perhaps very unbias unlike many fans which might include yourself... If you read correctly I said beginning which means i've been watching since I first heard of him... he does have great talent, no one is denying that... but then again when he has had several opportunities to fight a big name, something happends for some reason and the fight never takes place... maybe when he fights that big name, he might be exposed... so read and break down sentences before you speak like an idiot...

I think if Bradley gets past Campbell and then maybe fights and beats another top tenner then there we can make a case for him being right up there and at this point I can definitely see his flaws but the reason why I think he is not overated is because he got put down but he got back up and still won the fight. Thats a champion right there.

Just to go off the cuff a little bit

Some people who can just automatically say that 1 guy is the best in the division without that guy even fighting and beating all of the top guys I just dont understand that.

Alot of people do it with Manny but Manny has not fought Bradley, Campbell, Holt and others but fair enough that all these guys are not big draws but when you are talking about tough contenders these guys will give any fighter a rough night including Manny so until Manny clears out the division he is not the top guy, he is just one of many top fighters in that division.

I remember people were all over victor ortiz's nuts saying how he is the next best thing but as soon as he loses, he was apparently overated and overhyped. It really makes me laugh because the same arseholes who were overating him is the same assholes who are now saying he was overated. Some ESB members sucks ass at times ...

All Im saying is Guzman technically is sound so for his skills he defintely deserves the accolades but to say he has messed up his chances to fight in a big fight, unless you know the reasons why then we cant speculate.

Alex Arthur was one, Guzman cancelled and moved up in weight, then it was Campbell and he messed that up, and that is the only big fights I've ever heard him not taking, were there anymore that you could enlighten me on?

He is not exactly being hyped with the promotional force behind him so that also might have something to do with it. Its like some of these guys just end up being sidelined.

He probably cant get fights because nobody wants to fight him. High risk low reward. Most fighters dont want to risk it so it might not be entirely all his fault but yes he is partly to blame also

I said his best win at 160. Then 2nd fight was not at 160, and Miranda was damaged goods.

Forgot to add Abraham. That guy is not much more then a brawler. Its crazy to hear about how good he is. Decent right hand an a good guard, but thats it. His punches make me think I am watching a toughman competition.

Has to be David Haye. His resume is awful for the hype he is getting for not fighting but just running his Glass Jaw is laughable. At least Arreola has beat some solid contenders at Heavyweight. Haye has yet to do that and those bums he beat at Cruiserweight like his fellow Glass Jawed countryman Maccarinelli are awful.

Agreed Rico. The guy may be world class at HW, but we do not know yet so the hype is nothing more than hype. My personal opinion is that he is not a legit HW at this point and will never be a top HW, but I could be wrong. But as of now, the guy is hype and extremely overrated until he accomplishes something at HW.

Its funny how people will begin to ring the "CW" bell and act as if anything at CW means a damn thing at HW because it does not.

I agreed with everything you just said, but let me just explain when I said "im becoming to have thoughts about him", is because he is loaded in a division with a great amount of talent... I understand the "high risk, low reward" but him not fighting a nate campbell and not to forget all the other good fighters out there such as Juan Diaz, even a Valero fight, Katsidis, Casamayor, Funeka, or any of the other Diaz, or lets just say Prescott. So many names that could put his boxing skills to test with names like that. If he still having weight problems then the next division is also loaded with names... He should at least land a fight with one of these names, which we know one of them will step up and fight him... Thats why I said im becoming to have thoughts... theres a lack of confidence on his part or his promoting team... lets remember hes not getting any younger as well and still hasnt fought a well deserving name at 135.

    so keep your panties on

I also agree with most of what you said but I always have to bring up Malignaggi and how overated he is, he has got great boxing ability but he is nothing but hype and it is purely because of who his promoter is and what fights he is able to get through self promotion and his personality along with his promotional force behind him in Lou Di Bella. He has always been overated and he has lost every big fight he has been in and almost got KO'ed by Chris Fernandez and went life and death with Ndou and Ngoudjo so Hatton beating a featherfisted one handed boxer I dont see as him beating the best in that division. Junior Witter would of probably of knocked Hatton out if Hatton just fought him and stopped making up bull**** excuses. Hatton is another way overated fighter so Manny even beating him is impressive but not as impressive as some might suggest because when he goes up against somebody with a good defense then we will see what he is able to do.

If Manny ever fought Floyd Floyd would make Manny look like how Hopkins made Calzaghe look. Very ordinary and amateuristic.
