Pacquiao weighed-in at 142 lbs during his bout with Dela Hoya and 138 lbs during his recent fight with Hatton and both times he re-hydrated to around 148 lbs. That's a difference of 4 extra pounds south in terms of weigh-in weight between those two occassions. Did that affect Pacquiao'a performance? I don't think so. Many even say he performed better during the Hatton fight.

Cotto looked unhealthy like a lot of boxers do. When you are cutting a lot of weight it takes a toll on you.

Pacquaio has cut up to 15lbs before. His body can take that can kind of dehydration.

Specially considering he stays in good shape year round. Unlike Cotto who does take time off.

I've never discredited Pac on anything but the DLH fight and for this fight (that isn't even signed yet)

Mayweather was calling for time off prior the DLH fight an EVERYONE knew this. When Mayweather fought Baldomir, Cotto, Mosley had done nothing to deserve a shot at Mayweather.

Then Mayweather fought in the two biggest and most wanted fights back to back.

    Eh.

The normal human body can cut around 10lbs of weight. Past that if you stay in good shape you can cut more. And if you stay in REALLY goo shape you can push 15-20lbs of waterweight without hurting yourself. Note both Pac and Cintron.

Im not saying its going to happen but as most Pac fans say, 145 aint different from 147. Then why are they fighting at 145, to attempt to drain Cotto.

When you are able to fight 100% healthy at your weight class then whatever you are doing is fine. When you are forced to below your weight class it gets tougher an tougher unless fight at the weight you weigh in at (Pac and Mayweather both minimal amounts above where they fight at)

People act like one pound is just so easy to take off. It's not when you are pushing your body past its limits.

Corley was a WBC eliminator for Gatti's WBC belt.

That's also the reason why Floyd fought Brussles.

Zoo was tied to Showtime and Cotto was considered green by Arum.

Mayweather wanted a title at 140 and went after Gatti the best available title holder.

Baldomir won the Lineal Championship against Judah and 90% of this board agreed that Floyd would not be the true champion unless he beat Baldomir.

On top of that, Margo was offered to take the place of Judah on the Judah-Mayweather card and declined.
