All i can say is 1 pound! 1 god damn pound and we get to see this fight!
Cotto is Ok with it... He wants pac! every boxing fan would love to see this fight! and in all honesty i don't think losing a pound or two would affect cotto.

some people are just scared the pacman!

and i don't care bout floyd he should have fought cotto a long time ago!

Gatti won that fight because he was better that Gamache not because of the weight difference.

If you cared that much about weight, why don't you make threads about Floyd should be able to force the WWs to fight at a catchweight?

He weighs the same as Pacquaio.

Castillo said okay to rematch at 135 and couldn't make weight.

Just because someone says they can do it, doesn't mean they will.

Im not making excuses. Im asking why is this fight at 145 when Cotto is going to gain the same weight back.

And the fact is its to drain Cotto. (hope to anyway).

I love Pac and feel he would beat Cotto at 147 despite the weight advantage.

I guess Judah and baldomir aren't true welterweights despite both being the champion and number 1 in the division.

Mayweather is coming off 18+ month layoff.

If Mayweather fought Pac, Cotto or Mosley if they were coming off an 18 month layoff you would be **** talking that Mayweather should let them have a warm up fight.

Diego was there and was the better fight. PBF said he already beat him once and there was no need for a 2nd time. But that was a better fight then Gatti.

I got no problem with almost anything you typed. But your first sentence says a lot. Pac is not a real welterweight and if he does not want to fight a real welterweight then this should be a non title fight.

Cotto is still a beast at 145 and still an extremly dangerous fight. But if you refuse to let him weigh his full 147 you don't deserve his 147 title

my god eze, why do you keep assuming and really want to claim that cotto will strain himself by making 145 lbs?.

tell me how the hell could you possibly know that, you know something about cotto's body that cotto himself does not?.

he agreed to it that's why it's presumed that his good with it..

put yourself on pacquiao's shoe, what would do?.

    Diego corrales? Are you seriousl?

    :lol::lol:

Corrales was at 135 against Castillo and had fought him a month before Gatti -Mayweather took place.

On top of it you admit that a 2nd fight shouldn't happen.

    So shut the **** up.

Castillo agreed to fight Corrales at 135 in their 2nd fight. Look what happened.

If I was in Pac shows if I wanted to fight a WW I would fight him at 147 not force him lower to a catchweight.

Why dont you make the same fuss for Mayweather who weighs the same as PAcquaio,

Its all psychological and making the other party your ***** in negotiation. 4 months to prepare for 145 when you weight in at 146 your last fight. 1 lb less for a career defining fight. 1 lb less or future mega PPV if you win. If anything this is all in favor of Cotto. If Cotto can't get his **** together in 4 months for this fight then he doesn't belong in the elite level. If he can't weight 2 lbs below 147 and 1 lb less then his last fight in 4 months for this huge fight he needs to hang it up.

I got a question to SO CALLED Pacquiao fans, if at 145 pounds is no big deal and Cotto will fight the same way like when he fought at 147 pounds, then why not Pacquiao vs Cotto at 147 pounds for Cotto wbo ww title? If Cotto will be fine as most here believes at 145 pounds then Cotto just like at 147 pounds will weight 10+ more pounds then Manny on fight night. So again why not at 147 pounds if at 145 pounds is no big deal?

    Like I said.

    Corrales-castillo 2.

Castillo had 5 months to weigh the exact same and failed.

Stop thinking 1lb is nothing. Castillo couldn't even lose 1 extra lb despite weighing in at 138.

according to your logic fighters can't become better than what they were if they lost one time. :patsch

    You ignored what I said.

You would be mad if Floyd did that to other fighters so why can't he have a warm up fight with someone who most besides *******s consider to be 1 and 1 with pac?

I said PBF said it. Read man. But the fight with Chico was the better fight. I know Chico fought the month prior. Chico tried to get the fight but PBF wasn't biting so he fought Castillo and it was at 140. Chico was the 140 champ at the time. That was the first fight of the trilogy.
