the bruseles fight is strange... bruseles was a puerto rican trained by evangelista cotto and was one of floyd's first bouts at 140... at the time, bruseles was considered a "test" for floyd to see if he could face a bigger man like cotto or gatti

anyway, floyd totally dominates that fight as per usual but it is NFL playoffs time, and the commentators (jim, roy and larry) are talking about the games and floyd chimes in that he's picking the eagles and the falcons

 

They was asking who was going to win the Super Bowl and he looked at them and said the patriots. Does not do nothing for me though. He is still a ducker and ur trying to make something from a few years ago stick with the fact he is not fighting people now.

If Floyd fought Cotto or Mosley after they were coming off a year and half layoff you would cry about how Mayweather doesn't let fighters get a warm up.

 

I am so tired of the excuses, he's coming off a layoff, he broke his hands blah. blah, blah. Until he fights in September, which I believe he will be rusty and struggle in the fight but still win, he is not going straight after Pac, Cotto, or Mosley. He is going to want another tune-up fight and that is highly understandable. Don't be surprised about that, so what will be ur excuse then?

Another tune up? He signed a 5 fight contract. They wont give him another warm up.

Unless it's Cotto who would be an upgrade from warm up to set up fight.

 

Floyd might take that one considering he would think Mosley would be old enough to draw Medicaid by then.

 

And his second fight could be a tune-up and his last 3 could be against Pac, Mosley and Cotto. Remember Mayweather makes the decision for Mayweather. A 5 fight contract means nothing when he can probably dictate his first 2 or 3 fights
