Dude are you serious? If Cotto is healthy at 145 pounds then i guarantee you Cotto will still weigh around 160 on fight night. So again if 145 pounds is just 1 POUNDS!! As enzo mention then at 147 pounds is no big deal either.
We know the tale of the tape never lies. There was a post about it a few months back. Where fighters tale of the tape were way of from different fights.
It makes sense because both of them can agree with 145... that's the only way the fight is going to happen! simple as that
It's quite funny that at 146. Cotto weighs 160 but if he goes to 145 he suddenly loses 4-5 lbs :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
Im not even saying its true. But if his shoulders bigger then that are bigger. That doesn't mean Pac is bigger than him. Floyd is bigger than Pac but not by much.
the world does not owe pbf anything. having a tune up is the best way to go for any fighter who retired. but having a tune up against a 37 year old 2 division lower fighter, it raises a lot of questions, don't you agree?
That 37 year old is 1-1 against Pac in my eyes. AND has won more rounds against Pac that Pac has won against him. Pac and Marquez are the same size. So if you want Floyd to fight Pac you need to allow him to fight Marquez in a WARM UP fight.
:rofl:rofl at 145, cotto will have to come in at 144-145 during weigh in. are you seriously implying that he can regain 15-16 pounds overnight without it affecting him?
How is it make sense though? Doesn't Cotto have a ww title? If so then why not fight at 147 pounds if at 145 pounds is no big deal? Didn't Cotto weigh in at 146 pounds vs Clottey? then if losing 1 pounds is nothing then fighting at 147 pounds in which Cotto will most likely weigh in at 146 pounds is no big deal correct?
Cotto weighs 158 on fight night not 160. At 147 gaining 11-12lbs is on the limit but 13-14 isn't about how much he'll put on. It's about how much he will have to lose. You clearly dont know how cutting weight works.
if at 145 pounds is no big deal in which cotto be the same then why not fight at 147 pounds? You say "1 pound!!!" then let it be be at 147 pounds since cotto will most likely weigh in at 146 pounds.
pac is going up a couple of pounds... they're only asking cotto to go down 1 ****ing pound?! this is a one shot deal! it's not like pac is staying at 147, he is willing to go up to fight him but they have to meet have way to make it fair. please... why all this bitching and whining? some people are just scared? true story...
pac and jmm are the same size. and i have truly been consistent since i joined that pbf will win over pac on points. and while i am not confident about pac's chances, he is what he is. he continuesly looks for greater challenges despite the odds. i cannot fault him for that and in fact admire him for his courage. and he has defied our expectations and because of that cemented his legacy. compare that to pbf who has much more skill set and better physical attributes. he can fight as high as 154 and be competitive and what has he done worthwhile north of 135?
