Ed isn't on the radar not b/c he's a threat. He's not a threat to a guy like PAC. He's dangerous for his power, but his skill set that he works with places him at a HUGE disadvantage. Ed doesn't get a shot only b/c he's not a big name in the game. Partly to do with his medical situation the other he hasn't faught anyone who is an A level guy or ELITE level guy.

I hear you, but Pac is not an ATG yet.

I don't understand you about this. Cotto was healthy 146 pounds on his last weight in. Do you really believe one pound is going to make all this difference ??

Why not?, if these guys agree then what's the problem?, I don't understand the big deal here. Hopkins fought Pavlik at a catchweight and not many complained, Pavlik fought Jermain at a catchweight in the rematch and no one complained either. All this "Roach is draining people" is getting out of hand lately, they make it sound like Roach goes to their training camp and literally drains them with one of those ghostbuster machine guns. These guys agree to it and when they agree it's THEIR problem, Roach isn't forcing anyone.

Nall.....most feel differently. Not in the world of "fans" but people who are engulf in the business and sport of boxing. PAC's resume is ATG status for what he has done in the game. Put it this way....Floyd is an ATG and he hasn't done nearly anything close to what PAC has done other than stay undefeated.

Valero has skills. Valero is so underrated, and called overrated. Don't worry, soon Valero will be on the front page of boxing.

Come on man, even if wipes the floor with Valero which he could and EASILY you wouldn't consider him an ATG. Pac is an ATG and even if he loses to Cotto or Mayweather he remains an ATG and might STILL win the fighter of this generation award unless these guys get better wins after they beat him, specifically Mayweather.

If Pac loses . . . then that will seprate the real fans from the fake fans.

We will find out who these people are.

For me it doesn't matter . . . I like fighters for their fighting styles and attitude not because they are winning.

Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Tyson, Lewis, JccSr, SRL, Duran, Hearns, Morales, MAB, Cotto, Mosley, Margarito and even Katsidis have loses and yet I'm still their fan. :D

Valero is an hypejob that shouldnt even be talked alongside guys like JMM and Pac,the guy has yet to fight someone decent he didnt even accept a fight with a guy like Prescott.

the guy is a wimp just like his fellow commie Linares..

Until he wipes the floor with Valero, don't even talk about it. That is "what if even if" talk. There is no such thing as the best fighter of his generation award. Pac might be the most liked of his generation because of his style, but the names of 'old bones' that he carries on his resume doesn't fool me.

I agree the kid has great ability and very good skills. Unfortunatley he showcases his skills in sparring sessions. He has yet to translate what he shows in sparring to the ring during an actual fight. he leaves what he seemingly knows at the door and goes back to trying to blast his oppoents out with mindless agression and pwer. It has worked so far......but look at who he's fighting. Potential is there but he's not yet ready for the Elites....he needs to step up with a guy like Soto or Guzzy and prove he has skills in a real boxing match. I love what he shows int he gym but as you should know...there are great GYM fighters who don't fight nearly as well in a real fight and there are fighters who are great in an actual match who do poorly in sparring.

Pac has losses too, who cares?, it's all about ability in the ring. Sugar coated records mean nothing.
