In the end, it all comes down to whether or not Haye can take a punch from a real heavyweight. He's playing with the big boys now and it's only a matter of time before he gets caugt. Remember, Haye was a big cruiserweight who always had the strength and size advantage over his opponents. That is no longer the case. And, unlike Wlad, he does not have the height to keep his chin away from power punches. Haye will get caught. Then we will see whether or not he succedes at heavy. Although I don't think much of Arreola, we know he can punch. So there's you're answer, eggsucker. We don't know if Haye can take a heavyweight punch. And if Arreola hits him, there's a pretty good chance he hurts him.
Haye has a lot of power and Arreola has shown me no evidence at all of having a solid chin and if Haye can KO Chris whilst wearing a head guard you can bet your life he can do it without
Two punchers with questionable chins, comes down to who's going to land first, that's likely Haye-the better technician, better conditioned, fought at a higher level, so he gets my vote.
An internet forum is no place for speculation? I never said anything definitively. It's something that can happen during sparring so it's not beyond consideration. By the way I don't dislike Haye, he was impressive as a cruiserweight.
I see Haye winning due to the poor defense of Arreola, but if Haye gets careless Arreola can KO haye with 1 shot. Comes down to who lands first
I voted Haye but it could be a case of whoever lands a big shot 1st wins!!! 6 rounds maximum for me!!!
Does anybody else find it peculiar that Haye would be sparring with Arreola in prep for Enzo Mac? I question the validity of that story. Anyways, I'll pick Arreola. I think he would survive the initial onslaught, and even a couple of KDs, on way to a KO in round 7 or 8.
