Are you going to be a ******* and say that Pac couldn't have fought any black fighters... good or bad before he hit 135 and 140 lbs?

 

nallege what does fighting black fighters have to do with anything. that is just a dumb arguement.

Fans want Pac-Cotto at 147, no excuses. That will make fans happy. 145 isn't a catch weight, it is an insult...

 

Are you going to tell me that moving up two weight divisions to fight DLH isn't better than fighting some of the "black" fighters at 135?. Don't you realize the recognition/attention the win over DLH brought?, don't you see the major offers he started getting after that fight?, a fight people expected him to get KO'd in within 2 rounds or 3 at most. Don't you realize that he's calling out the best black fighter and by far as he moved up in that weight category in Floyd Mayweather which proves your point false?

Besides, what does being black have to do with anything?, it's not like these "black" fighters were superior in any way or different because they're black. It's just a skin color, in the end they're all human beings that share similar basic desires making them all the same.

If it's an insult Cotto wouldn't agree to it like he didn't agree to anything below 145.

I still like Jermaine Taylor and Cotto after the Marg fight, I'm sure some jumped off the bandwagon, happens with every fighter. Stupid thread.

 

I dont think so.. pac loss to morales in 2005 and i didn't stop being a fan of him. Pac is my favorite boxer of all time. He already accomplished far more than i ever expected.
