I don't know if the way you mentioned is necessarily the best way for him to pace the fight, or his only chance of winning, but i know this much: the guy can hit for real, and we all know what can happen when Wlad gets hit by a real puncher.
So no matter how many jokes people make about his fat ass< the guy has a legitimate shot imo

 

Id say its 90% he gets kayoed in the first 4 rounds if he tries to walk him down. If he goes all out, Wlad will throw the right hand, and Cris will go to sleep.

Different calibre of fighter.

 

no way he beats Wlad. Wlad is to fast (Hands & feet) for Arreola and Wlad has defense unlike Chris

Only guys who really stand a chance against Wlad IMO are Arreola and Haye who can punch a little and have the kind of offfensively aggressive style to get Klitschko to steer away from his jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, ZzzzZzzz, jab, right hand routine.

Not saying that either of those two would actually beat Wlad, but IMO they're the only ones who stand a chance because of their styles and power. Every other fighter I see out there would basically meet the same fate as someone like Chagaev. They'd just stand out at range and get picked apart by the younger Klit brother.

 

Arreola doesn't post ANY threat to Wlad at all. 10% chance he can KO Wlad in the first round, and those chances would keep going down each round.

 

Arreola's got a chance of laying out Wlad early, but anyone with a decent punch has a chance of doing that on Wlad's glass chin. I think if Chris wants to increase his chances of winning, he needs to do 2 things. Lose about 25 pounds, and come in balls to the wall. When Wlad gets comfortable behind the jab and grab, your nights pracically over by the mid to late rounds. So what you need to do is be aggressive, and look to make it a fight, not a boxing match early on.

 

I'd say it's 50/50 until the beginning of round..say...two.

 

Punchers chance. I think if he lost some weight his odd's would go up, but chances are in the shape he's in now, I believe the fight would pan out to something of the likes of Sam Peter vs. Vitali K.

 

He definately has the syle and mentality to force Wlad into an exciting few rounds but,,, I think he might get himself KOed in the process.

He eats too many straight right hands,,, and tacos.

 

Arreola is completely suckish. He'll walk right into a punch (because he's dumb that way), and he does not have the chin to survive.

 

People claim they want to see exciting Heavyweight fights. Arreola vs either Wlad or Vitali would be an exciting fight while it lasted.
