Jackson Asiku looked fantastic against Gairy St. Clair.

Asiku deserves a crack @ an Alphabet title after that performance and I reckon a fight with Billy Dibb will be a hell of a fight.

I reckon Asiku inside the distance

I'd have thought that nearly everyone that follows Aussie boxing has heard of him.

    Exactly.
Jackson was awesome last week against Gairy.

    Bring on Billy Dib alright.:yep

I think a potential match with Cristobal Cruz is an option as well as Jackson is ranked in the IBF now.:good

Asiku v Cristobal Cruz would be a great, Dibb should take on the best Aussies before going over seas.

Dibb v Asiku would also be good

Tend to agree....Jackson would beat Dib....yes we all knew he was good....but that was the first time I thought he was great.

great fighter. saw his 2 commonwealth title fights in england where he destroyed mckeever and callaghan. i wish asiku's career would go somewhere. it almost did but the chris john fight got cancelled - twice. what awful luck. i feel he'd beat cruz. jackson picks his shots better than mashaba, the guy who "lost" to cruz.

He did look at bit "off" in his last fight....but was great against Gairy.

The Nitro format is a potential nightmare for established 12 round fighters. Much like 20/20 in cricket, minnows can force upsets against the giants in the shorter format where a fighter only has to win 2 rounds to force a draw.

Over 4 rounds active Philo's and Thais could easily upset an established fighter like Jackson (almost happened) by coming out to war and Jackson would certainly obliterate them over 8-12 rounds. In his last fight Jackson was just getting warmed up and it was over and he almost got rolled.

Dangerous stuff and 4 rounders are not going to get American matchmakers attention.

not ready for a title shot just yet, but i agree he did look fantastic in the gairy st clair fight... but his last performance was lacklustre to be honest

yes the 4 rounder was an awful idea to put a solid, grown up pro in. a guy gives you 2 close rounds and you're in trouble.
