Depends on the way he would beat Luevano. If he wins a close decision then I would go with Lopez, because right now Juan Ma can do it all. However, if he were to dismantle Luevano by either stopping him or knocking him out, then Concepcion would have an outside shot because it would show that he would have KO power at that weight, COMBINED with the always unknown variable whenever anyone moves up in weight...because then the question will become not if Lopez can outbox Concepcion (of which he is more than capable), but rather can JuanMa take shots to the chin and body at 126? But either way, Lopez would be the favorite. I'll say it once and I'll say it again. I think Concepcion hasn't necessarily been mishandled, but with his tools and composure in the ring, I think an elite trainer would make him a very scary player from 122-126. For sure a beltholder at the very least.

Second, go to ESPN.com or maxboxing and tell me how many articles are written about him. Definitely a lot less than ones for Victor Ortiz or Gamboa. Again, stop blinding yourself with hate for Filipinos and actually read what I wrote already about Concepcion. I'll let you revel in your fantasy world though. he's shawt for the weight he will have problems IMO. He doesn't have the pop as an equalizer for the height and reach disparity. He'll get painted all night by Leuvano. Concepcion isn't that fast either..
Luevano had problems with a slower fighter in Jandaeng. Concepcion also throws punches from a variety of angles. Last thing: Luevano has shown that he'll take rounds off to conserve energy. Very interesting matchup that will show the true colors of both fighters when the smoke clears.
I'll go with Donaire as he has been tested at the elite level and dominated - the other guys are still unproven. Bernabe has a slight chance since his division is stacked with stars to compete against.
Well he is MP promo boxer which we know is > ALA boy of CEBU.Pacquaio backs the kid and believes in him.He did look good with Roach as the trainer. He wen't up a level IMHO.But Iono man, that was against cuties. Luevano is boring but solid in what he do.I am definitely looking to see if Conce is hype or not. They call him the real deal.So we'll see.Pacman logo on his trunks he has alot to live up to..
Ruiz is not a cutie. He was a pure pressure fighter. But I agree 100% with you PIPO. Luevano is as solid as it gets and we will see what Abe is really made of.
I agree that he should seek out a top trainer who can take him to the next level however if Arum sticks to this apparent schedule of putting him in with JuanMa in his next 2 fights, should he beat Luevano, then I doubt he would have the time and experience under the new tutorledge to overcome such a step up.
