he probably has one more fight left in him, but if chooses to fight on, age will eventually catchup to hopkins, how many times can he keep going back to the fountain of youth? When the wheels fall off they will off badly.....

Hopkins should take Adamek out at Cruiserweight, or outbox the young Dawson.

Sayin you're retired in boxing is basically sayin you want to take about 3-6 months off. That's all. BHop knows he can still make a few more dollars fighting some big names out there (win or lose). I say keep doing it, cuz he'll be 50 soon and then he's gonna regret not mixing it up while he had the abilities.

Me too. One last hurrah. Hopkins is at that stage of a career where one more good win would get him to that very top rung of greatness. If he beats Adamek, say, adding the cruiser belt to his resume, he'll be remembered as a super all-time-great. He's still an ATG etc if he loses or simply retires now, but one more would ring through history.

He's got a lot going on. He's more or less Oscar De La Hoya's right hand man in terms of promoting and he does a lot of commentary for GBP based events. He's pretty good at it in all honesty.
