My dad served on Christmas Island in 1958 and he confirmed to me that when WALDO hit Austin with 19 left hooks in a row the last one sounded exactly like an atomic explosion.

    Oh **** :patsch

So because WALDO beats a shot Mercer it meant more than Lewis beating a prime Mercer, because Lewis also beat a past his prime Tyson?

I've heard it all now :patsch

"active" has nothing to do with it, I saw Mercer when he fought on the Tyson-Neilsen undercard and he looked like ****, he almost got stopped in the first round by Brian Scott who was a bum, he cut Mercer to pieces in the first round and folded in the 2nd round from the first meaningful punch Mercer threw :rofl

Mercer fought another hand-picked bum then got his shot at WALDO at age 40-41, and surprise surprise he got beaten up :patsch

I heard booing the last couple of rounds, sounded to me like the same thing WALDO got in NY when he fought Iggy- the fans were pissed off with his caution.

Of course when you've got a fragile as **** glass chin you need caution, even against a short armed midget like Chagaev. Shame the WALDO fans didn't seem to understand but hey I'm sure you all enjoyed your night in the sun :nut:nut:nut

slick? i'd say calling him a mexican would be more fitting than that. if he's slick, then Margarito is a defensive wizard

Ralph Racine and Himer Kenty --- 1980.
    Before Kenty was champ.
    Now that was a war.
Has anyone ever seen this one?
If not , its too bad because it blows away most of the fights today.
    Any footage anyone ??
