Ok, so here is the deal. Fury is going to fight on 7-18 against a TBD opponent. Before the end of Novemember Fury will have to fight John Mcdermott for the English Title. The guy is no slouch, Mcdermott gave a great fighter like Danny Williams a lot of trouble twice. So, here is some of us thinking if Big John could lose to Williams by SD, and MD, giving him a competitive fight, he could possibly beat Fury.
Mcdermott almost beat Danny Williams. Are you saying Fury, a guy with only 6 fights is better than Danny Williams?
I think the question really should be: Who will be the colossus - nay, the wraith, sent from hell, - who can unlock the spell Tyson Fury is casting over world boxing today?
How bad are your Heavyweights when you are forced to hype up a clumsy joke like Tyson Fury? :rofl I mean I know America's Heavyweights are not the greatest but they are much better than a joke like Fury. I would pick Wilder to shatter Fury's Glass Jaw tomorrow.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3pbO_RKMM4 Here is John McDermott in action. He has Danny Williams rocked for the entire 5th round. Go Mcdermott.
I hope you are right. But Wilder hasnt fought anyone with a pulse yet. And he is 6'7 215 lbs. More power, fighting absolute cans. How could you even tell he has more power against his opposition? USA Olympian HeavyWeights have a recent history of badly flopping lately. Remember Michael Bennett, Jason Estrada, Lawrence Clay Bey?
This one actually won a medal. If you watch his fights and how he KO's his opponents you can tell that he can punch.
Tyson Fury will beat a lot of good fighters before he steps up a huge amount. If he takes his time he could become a world champion.
