I would put my money on Arreola to stop Haye, probably would be extremely entertaining for a few rounds. Arreola is much faster than many people suggest, with some real sneaky short power punches on the inside, including some very sharp powerful combinatins, and he has a real fighters heart and determination. One thing I love about him is when he gets hit he really steps it up, you don't get any free shots with him, he immediately strikes back and he strikes back hard. Hopefully he'll step up his fitness level. I've never seen him tired or winded or sucking air in a fight, and I know he spars a lot so he's relaxed when fighting, but I would really like to see him fighting between 235-240. His physique looked pretty good for the Witherspoon fight, but not too good since, but so far no one has been able to hang with him anyway. A few less pounds would probably increase his agility and help in a long drawn out fight. Counting him out against anybody not named Klitschko would probably be a mistake.

Wlad would jab the **** out of him....
Set-up a straight right hand & it would be over.
    (All before 5 rounds, IMO)

That said, I'd love to be wrong.
CA knocking out Wlad would be funny to watch!
& Haye Vs. Arreola would be fireworks!!!!

Wladimir would stop Arreola within 3 rounds, if it was Wladimir who had dropped Arreola instead of Travis Walker Arreola would've gotten stopped that round.

I don't see great chances for Arreola.

Yes he can punch so he potentially can KO Wlad, but this is the heavyweights...they can all punch. That doesn't neccessarily give him a greater chance than others.

Nor does his aggression unless he can find a way to make that effective. All that means is he gets KO'd quicker if he makes a reckless move. Or if he's too slow, or defensively lacking.

Unless Arreola got into some serious shape and really worked on his skills to make his pressure more effective I don't give him a greater than 10% chance.

Vlad has been underrated by American media prejudice for many years now. Boxing 101 is all that is needed to tell that he is very talented fighter, always has been. Vitali is very underrated also. I remember when America media used to lie about him as well. When fight was not shown in America, American media would like through their teeth because they knew that American fans did not see fight. However, there were many of us would did see fight! One commentator had to apologize for lying about fight live on USTV! I had some words with Max live on USTV, coast to coast. I like Max, but he was unfair. Teddy Atlas? What can I say? He is psychic in reverse.

Because I think Wlad stinks up the joint when he fights? You're entitled to your opinion, bro.

Seems like he'd end up plodding and being softened up by Wlad. He might find himself in position to punch but odds are Wlad would tie him up or just get out of harms way all the while throwing jabs and the occasional right hand behind it. Arreola's exciting, he's tough but he's out of his league against Wladimir. He'd come away looking like an amateur albeit an aggressive one who can produce a scary moment or 2. Wlad would stop him in the middle rounds. Maybe 7 or 8. It's not as though Wladimir hasn't been blitzed early before. In fact, more fighters should try it seeing as though it really is their only chance.

Arreola is as tall as Chagaev, but slower on his feet. Wlad is pretty much unhittable these days by smaller fighters who don't have crazy speed and movement.

Travis Walker hurt Vitali in sparring, he was also unbeaten before he fought Arreola. It was a good solid win.

Arreola is 3 inches taller than Chagaev. He's only an inch shorter than Thompson.
