Yeah saying "He weighed in at 146 and looked fine!" doesn't mean he'll be fine at 145 against Pac ya know?

Lord knows Pac looked emaciated against Marco Antonio Barerra at 130 for their rematch and then looked fine in his next fight against JMM. It's an unpredictable fickle beast these weigh ins are.

Yea but 3lbs? He made it last time with ease, so he shouldn't of even been 3lbs off. He should of been able to get down to 136 or 137. I mean he just fought him at 135.

How is Cotto pushing his body past his limit? He looked strong in the last fight. One pound will make no difference and you know it. Please just step back and look at the facts.

Ok if you do your research into sport science you would know that being trim actually means you have more energy, more stamina, lighter on your feet and faster.

Putting on too much weight/muscle actually overloads your frame and makes you sluggish, slower and have lower energy levels. Most of your energy goes into powering those bigger muscles.

Did you see Cotto in the Clottey fight? He looked strong and not in any way underweight or 'weight drained' 1 pound is not going to turn him into a zombie. Cold hard FACT.

I think you're not reading my responses to this **** you're peddling. As I've said for nth time, Roach broached the idea of fighting at l43 but Cotto adamantly rejected by saying no way he will go down at 145. The camp of Pac did not insist. Meaning, they are not forcing him to down at l43. But when Cotto offered 145, Roach accepted it. So where's the attemp to drain him. Cotto came up at l46 against big Clottey, what is the difference if he comes at l45 against small Pac. Will Cotto be weight drained at l45? I don't think so. If he himself proposed 145, who are we to question him. Therefore, you are barking at the wrong tree, amigo. Blame Cotto for proposing 145. While you are blaming Pac's camp which is unwarranted, you turned a blind eye on Marquez for asking Floyd to go down at l43.

In summary, there is NO ATTEMPT to drain. These are all part of negotiations which are normal in every fight. We are just outsiders looking in. The two parties themselves agree, sign, and deliver the agreement.

Like I said, just because Cotto proposed 145 doesn't mean it won't hurt him.

What will be different at 145 compared to 147?

Why does it have to be at a catchweight?

I am looking. If nothing will be different for Cotto at 145 compared to 147, why is it at a catchweight?

Okay? So you are saying for him to cut more weight is healthy?

Putting too much muscle on is bad, that's how we get blown up fighters.

Cotto putting 12lbs of waterweight back on is the not the same as adding muscle to his body.

Im not saying it will turn him into a zombie, but it's very possible he won't be at 100%. That's a fact.

What weight would the fight have to be contracted at for Cotto to be 100%?

Same question for Mosley, Williams, Margarito...

    147.5

The .5 is vital to the deal.

At 146 Cotto didn't look exactly 100% healthy and I feel he was pushing his limits.
Going lower would only worsen that.

For all we know Cotto could of not be at 100% because he cut to 146 and not stayed at 147.

So presumably you think the fight should be contracted at what? 148? 149? 150?

Again, you keep on repeating this like a broken record. Blame Cotto then not Pac's camp for suggesting 145. Remember he is not forced to accept this fight if he feels he cannot make 145. If he made 146 against Big Clottey, why can't he not make 145 against a former flyweight Pac. Are you dumb or just pretending to be dumb.

Btw, who are you to say it will hurt Cotto if he comes at 145? Are you his nutritionist? His nutritionist said it is okay if he weighs at 145. May I have your credential, amigo?

Mosley 147. He hasn't weigh below 147 for a long time.

Williams Im not sure, we have not seen him at 147 in quite awhile.

Im not even sure Margarito can make 147 anymore. He said he was drained in the Mosley fight.

And again you dont answer it.

Like I said. Cotto can agree and suggest all he wants but it doesn't mean it wont hurt him in the end.

Grats Pac is a former fly weight at 21 years old. His body matured and he grew into his frame. Pac is a legit 140lber now. Former flyweight when he wasn't making much money to eat.

When Cotto looks sick at 146, it's quite easy to see he's pushing his limits.

Castillo's nutritionist said he could get down to 135 again but look what happened?

Just because someone says something doesn't mean its going to happen how they plan.

    And please answer my question.

If there is no difference from 145 to 147 why is this fight at 145?

    Eze, why fight at catchweight?
Because not all boxers are created equal. That's why boxing gods created catchweight to level the playing field. Btw, you cannot expect Pac to fight dela Hoya at 160, and for dela Hoya to fight Pac at l35, do you?

    That's big exaggeration.

Pac fought at 147 before. Fights one weight class below.

And the answer not all boxers are created equal doesn't fly.

If the nothing will be different at 145 compared to 147 why is this fight happening at 145?

    Just answer that.
