Totally agreed. The two fighters who gave Dimitrenkoe some trouble were 6'8 Timo Hoffmann and 6'3 Krasniqi, who jumped in and used long overhand rights to score. Chambers doesn't have that kind of sytle, he has handspeed but little footwork.

Chambers' conditioning might be his downfall, against Peter he fought someone less conditioned, I think Dimitrenko will outwork him. Hopefully Eddie is seriously putting his miles in and not just saying he is. I believe he said he ran 5 miles a day for the Peter fight and still came in the ring jiggly.

After outboxing Dimitrenko for some rounds Chambers will get slower and eating more and more jabs, going down 1-2 times and will be loosing on points.

Chambers if he can keep a high/decent workrate.

Chambers COULD win if he can manage to keep a high workrate, tries to get on the inside and actually uses his right hand. While Dimitrenko is much bigger, he doesn't use his height that well, and he doesn't have the type of jab that would force Chambers to stay on the outside. That said, Chambers usually seems hesitant to try to get inside because he's better at boxing on the outside, and he falls way too much in love with his jab. To top it off, the fight's in Germany, so he would need to win rounds convincingly to have them scored his way, and Chambers has a tendency to try to skate by and just barely win rounds.

I think Dimitrenko will win a UD in a fight that it much closer than the scorecards indicate.

5 miles a day is nothing. What's that, 30 minutes of roadwork? A fight lasts 45 minutes. A professional boxer should be running at least 8 - 10 miles a day.

    I agree.

I just can't see Eddie getting enough done to convince the judges. He doesn't let his right hand go often enough. This is likely to be pretty close in reality.

Totally agree, Chambers might easily be the best boxer in the division but doesn't have the conditioning or workrate to make it matter. Hopefully he gets it together.

I might easily have been a top surgeon making huge bux, but I just didn't study hard enough
Maybe Chambers workrate is low b/c his conditioning is sub par - who really knows.

Brickhaus, I'm not sure how much road work Chambers or even the typical HW should do. I'm sure it varies w/the individual. Do you consider time skipping rope or sparring? You may not need to do as much road work if you do lots of other aerobic conditioning.

I think AD beats EC - it could be competitive.

Five miles in 30 minutes would be a fantastic pace, no 200+pound man would run that in training.

Eight to ten miles for a HW would easily amount to 60 - 80 minutes of running, not sure that is necessary for a HW if the whole training package is right as well as the diet.

I think Dimitrenko will fight disciplined and use his jab to pound out a workman like 12 round UD. I think that Chambers is too small for the big time of the heavyweight division and AD is not some slow out of shape wide punching plodder like Peter.
