    this is obviously pac's award. silva got boo'ed on his last fight and is NOT the kind of fighter ESPN wants to win this award? Pac not only won his last 2 fights impressively but these were fights people were laughing about a year ago.

    while i believe LHW is not a weak division, question is who has he fought there recently.. James Irvin who?!

    MW is a very weak division imagine Rich Franklin dominated that division for years before Silva knocked him down twice, he didnt even finish cote, if it wasnt for the injury it might ended up a decision win, with a round to Cote. A decision win over Leites? lets not talk about it, boring. :verysad
    Pac hands down should have this award.:good

    dude i guess u don't know a thing in mma, i suggest u shut it.
    this if this award is espn fighter of the year and the two nominees are silva and machida only, the winner should be machida no doubt. watch mma lately? here's for a review, thiago silva and evans went out cold against machida, w/ machida unmarked in that 2 bouts, whereas silva decisioned Leites and as to an injured cote ref ruled it tko'd? :hey

    lol anderson silva has fought very boring as of late...this was not his best year...it is machida or pacman...and obviously pac will win that on popularity
