You may not be a Floyd fan but you're an idiot. Mosley jumped 2 divisions to face the biggest name in boxing... some dude named Oscar.

Yeah, he ducked Floyd, the same Floyd that couldn't fill a high school gym back then.:patsch

You are right about Zab, but the negotiations for their fight were on before he lost to Baldy at the Garden's other theater. Floyd did fight the two best WWs in the world out of Margs in 06' but he took 07' off and had no excuse for not fighting Cotto after he KO'd Hatton. Once Floyd went after the money in 07', the division evolved into the crop it is now and he could have even cherry-picked(no bad fighter to choose from the Top 5) whoever he wanted in succession. I understand your sentiment, not attacking you, just had to point that out.

Good assessment. I respect both guys and what they have accomplished early and late in their careers but if you have to be totally unbiased as you have then everybody should be able to see that all Floyd wants is money fights and he does not care about his legacy because in his head what he accomplished early in his career seems to make up for what he hasn't done late in his career and all I and alot of other boxing fans want to see is him in the ring against the big names in his own division.

The Cotto's, the Mosleys and whoever else is a worthy opponent. Even Paul Williams in my opinion would definitely come down to 147 to fight Floyd at the drop of a hat...

I mean all we want to see is Floyd in a good fight where his skills are being put to the ultimate test and also it would just show that he has got some bottle to take a risk for once in his career as a 147lbs fighter.

we will watch this space to watch the story unfold because he still has to get past Marquez and with a bruised rib just healing up, Marquez better go to that body and early.

Mosley shouldn't wait around either, should get a stay busy fight going, Cintron wouldn't be a bad fight or even Quintana IMO.

I agree but you also have to wonder how many fights he has left in him. If he's only got 1 or 2, he doesn't want to waste them on one of those guys.

Without question but at his age ring rust is a bad thing, because all the big fights he wants are not gonna be easy. His reflexes, timing and speed should remain sharp by fighting his own form of a tune-up IMO.

    *Fixed

Defo not a better fighter than Mosley.
PBF does have better a defense & footwork, Fleeing ability. (Boxing)
But when it comes to aggression & workrate, Shane take it hands down.

Career wise ?... who knows really ?

Skillwise Id say Mayweather & Id pick him in a h2h vs Shane.

Ps. you should have did a public poll, it would be interesting to see who voted for who.
