Have any of you got any recommendations to a good custom mouth guard service. I have tried the basic one from sugarrays.co.uk, very basic and requires boiling but I don't think I got it right. I have found this site, anyone ever used it? http://www.guardkit.com/home.asp
Get the dentist to make one, few more bucks but its worth it. Im sure the over the counter ones are fine, anyways, is what i do.

does anyone using double sided mouth guard ? which is better, single or double ? I once saw holyfield was using it on his fight
Ive tried the double, how can you you use the single, wouldnt that be for one side of teeth only, no experience in this. I phoned the dentist and they said they would make one for me based on my teeth.
Go for a dentist one, definitely worth it. No need for a double, the singles spread the impact perfectly, in most cases at least.
I went to a dental hygienist school and asked them to do one, the students make them and it's less expensive. Take the single mouthguard, i used to have a double everlast and it was impossible to breathe. All the pros have single mouthguards and they take more hard blows than any amateur.
How does the single one work though, it sits for the upper teeth, do the lower teeth hide behind the guard or in front of it, sounds dodgy to me?
Your bottom teeth will meet your top teeth as normal, except theres a bit of "plastic" between them. Keep it that way too.
a mohtguard isnt supposed to protect your teeth it protects your jaw tahts why you bite down on the gumsheild. as you bite down on the gumsheild your teeth are protected from it as an added bonus. No need for a double they are very hard to breath out of
never thought about having to bite down on it. Think of all the brutal boxing fights over the years, I have never seen anyone with a double gumshield and never seen anyone with their teeth knocked out. Speaks for itself, a good single is the way to go.
