Pavlik Vrs Abraham needs to happen or boxing is a joke

i know, and it made sense then too. the thing is, it could have happened already. the karmazin fight could have happened already and all this who doesnt want who would be completely moot b/c aa would have his shot.

This is my whole point EXACTLY. Abraham is not a boxing superstar that has a vast number of 7 figure opponents to choose from. He has Kelly Pavlik, and a clear path to Pavlik. An eliminator, and a shot at Pav would pay as much as he currently makes, so there really is no excuse.

 

For anybody to suggest otherwise is un****ing believable.:roll:

i agree landshark, these are the two best middleweights. but saying "just make the fight happen" is essentially disregarding the fact that the fight can happen if arthur becomes the mandatory.

i think it also takes away from the argument that pav and/or arum are scared b/c, again, if arthur were serious about fighting pav, he could beat roman and leave pav no choice but to fight him. why hasnt this happened? it could have happened already.

 

It hasn't happened because Arthur was busy making a voluntary defense against #29 ranked Mahir Oral.

funny thing about mandatories...you kinda have to fight them...rubio was a mandatory. now think about what would happen if aa became pav's mandatory? your hate for pav blinds you to the fact that there is a sure fire way for aa/pav to happen...aa fights roman and wins and becomes pav's mandatory.

If Pavlik and Abraham vacated, they would still be the men at middleweight. If they don't fight, there is no middleweight champ. And if Pavlik is actually already the champ like some claim, he should prove it by fighting Arthur Abraham.
