What I mean by disciplined is that the fighter was dedicated t conditioning year round and keeping their skills sharp. The best example is Bernard Hopkins but who else has shown dedication to the sport?

How about Archie Moore? Or was his longevity more due to craftiness and ring intelligence? He had to be doing something right discipline-wise in winning the fights he did at such an advanced age.

    Chris Arreola?

Hagler was a fierce trainer, but was not without sin as he liked his beer.....

Frank Bruno had many flaws, but discipline in training was not one of them. Indeed one of his weaknesses may of been that great body and all the oxygen it needed to keep going in fights....

Pacquaio is a monster in training, I think Mayweather's fitness and training intensity is overrated, Mosley trains pretty hard, Hopkins is very very dedicated, Hatton would train very very hard in camp (not outside them though)

Allot of the most talented are gym a holics, training breeds success

I read Moore's book and he was very disciplined from that knowledge, a good man through and through it seems,

    Hopkins
    Pacquiao
    Calzaghe
    Marciano
    Mayweather

    To name a few.

Marquez runs 15,000 ft above snow level & is always there to the end throwing so must be included & just watching Sal Sanchez go 15 without breaking sweat tells me he probably had some voodoo **** going on as opposed to actual training.

Prime Tyson also had a very heavy regime, in a way you can understand why he deteriated, got everything money/fame/adoration/legacy, why get up at 5am to run?

Moore did blow up between bouts though, and really did struggle to boil down to 175 later in his career, basically becoming what is know today as a Bulimic to get down to the weight.
