    he sports world is in mourning. The world-wide three times champion of boxing and mayor of Managua, Alexis Argüello, died about the 1:45 of the dawn, apparently, after firing a gun in his heart, according to report of channel 8 of national television. The National Police has confirmed the death of Argüello, but it they are still waiting the results of the autopsy.

    Was MAyorga married to his daughter or was that someone else?

    Sad shame, I like allot of what I've read/heard of him, he seemed a gent, I made criticisms of his boxing style but he was a beast of a fighter and a great no doubt

    wonder what drove him to that, although we may never know
