I just saw him thursday night in a hotel lobby in Puerto Rico!atsch Geezzz...

 

AS a Boxing fanatic I am shocked and hurt.

This comes as a shock to me since the last time I heard about him he was in good spirits having overcome his drug problem.

May he rest in peace.

 

This is truly a sad day in sports. Alexis, you were a awesome talent-and a class act. That seems to be a rare combination.

the worst day in boxing i have had to experiance.

A true great and one fighter i admired.

But i admired him much more than as a boxer he was a true gentleman of the highest order, a very respectful guy.

 

One of my favorite fighters, if there was ever a credit to the sport, Alexis was it.......my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
