Thoughts and opinions for anyone who has seen that fight.

I just see it panning out pretty much the same way to be honest especially if Cotto is weakened in any way by having to fight at a catchweight.

So lets ave it...what do you think ?

I see cotto getting hit alot more than the torres fight and finishing pac in the 10th or 11th round

Let's see if Pacquiao can close the show, Cotto can & will if he don't.

With one key difference... Cotto won't get up.

This won't be quite like Cotto-Torres. Miguel has improved his skills since then, and Paq's approach is very different from Torres's. Manny throws shorter, more accurate punches, and has a better defense. You'll see a duel between two of boxing's top practitioners, more classic, but probably no less exciting.

The only way Cotto wins is by KO, he cant outbox Pacquiao for 12 rounds

Give me your reasoning for picking Pacquiao by stoppage?

LOL A lot of people keeps thinking that Pacquiao will just stand there and get hit. If Torres almost finished Cotto during that fight, Pacquiao is a different type of beast. I am not putting down Cotto's abilities for I am a fan myself. It's those who keep undermining Pacquiao's abilities as a boxer makes me wonder if they are really a fan of the sport or just fanatics.

If it goes 12, No way it will be in Pac's favor.

If Cotto is still around to see the 12th that means he put on a clinic & Pac was out dueled.

Forget about Cotto's performance against Torres. That was a long time ago and at a weight where he was clearly drained at. What other explanation is there when he moves up a division and takes better shots from better punches...better? Miguel Cotto is a better fighter as a Welterweight.

I don't think Cotto has the abilities to put a clinic on Pacquiao. His style is nowhere near Marquez. Even Mayweather won't put up a clinic on Pacquiao. Reason? Marquez is a good defensive fighter that doesn't run around. He a "stays in your face" counter puncher.
