Cap, Pacquiao also has power, not to mention he's a MUCH better fighter, stamina, faster, better chin then Torres, also he's not coming in on short notice like Torres did.

Cuts could play a huge factor in this fight

Good point...But he said Cotto won't get up from being knocked down...Pac doesn't hit as hard as Torres..however, Pacquiao would most likely starch Torres.... Cotto will seriously hurt Pacquiao....that you are going to have to see for your self on Nov 14.

Maybe but not with the same outcome... Torres got first at Cotto and he felt those. I very much doubt that Cotto will just get hurt and recover to get back into it if he's hit by Pacquiao. I've seen ( and almost felt) the shots Manny threw and hit Oscar and Ricky with, those are not Torres'... Lights can go out very quickly for Miguel or his face can become a gory mess at some point.

Again, you are talking about a Hatton who rushes in with gloves at waist level and an Oscar who has lead in his shoes.....
    There is a vast distinction!!!!

I have read all the posts on the thread and I think alot of people are definitely deluded.

    Number 1...

Against Diaz Pacquiao looked awesome because Diaz was a tailor made opponent who was slow as hell and made Pacquiao look ten times better than he is...

Against Oscar De La Hoya Pacquiao slowed himself down and picked his punches better and he used good foot movement to get in and out and to land shots and yes he looked like he was implying newly found boxing skills but to be brutally honest with you Oscar was there to be hit, you could not miss him that night.

Against Hatton, again Ricky Hatton has never had a defense and he is regarded as somebody easy to hit. All Pacquiao had to do was land and land often before Ricky landed on him. This was pretty much Pacquiao's finest performance but again, Ricky cant box for ****, he is a brawler so Hatton could easily be outboxed and he also looked **** against previous southpaw opponents. the only reason alot of people picked Hatton was because of the size advantage and they fell for the Floyd Mayweather Sr Bull****.

The difference with Cotto is that Cotto has actually got good fundamental boxing skills and alot of people who say Pac is light years ahead in skill dont know what there talking about. Pacquiao's advantages is speed and movement but that should be his advantages anyway considering he is the smaller man.

If Manny gets hit to the body in the same way Cotto hit Torres or Jennings then it will be a short nights work.

You guys are painting Manny out to be some beast, he is not going to knock out Cotto and if he thinks he can come to Cotto with that wild swinging when he thinks Cotto is hurt, he might end up on the canvas

Manny's Defense is ok but its not great and he is open for counters coz he is an aggressive fighter which will play into Cotto's hands, it is going to be a short night I believe after a few rounds of madness.

If Cotto is drained to **** then Pac will stop him, if not Cotto will come out on top and eventually start to put some wear and tear on Pac.

This will be the biggest puncher he has faced and Pac is lucky that Hatton did not catch him with another shot after he caught him with that left because Pac was on ***** street for a bout a few seconds but gathered himself so this fight is not going to go down as it is supposed to on paper...

The Pacquiao express is coming to the end of the line

You post this same **** in every thread, give it a rest man. Stop going on about this 10 or 12lbs advantage, your already making excuses before your boy gets knocked out.

    How you doing bro?

We have a difference of opinion on this one but its all good, its what keeps boxing exciting.

What makes you think Pac will actually stop Cotto considering Clottey couldn't or Mosley or Judah or Corley or Torres or anyone else who has had Cotto in trouble for a minute. Cotto does have a chin and he can take a hell of a punch and come back. If Pacquiao is to knock out Cotto he will have to hit him with about 10 punches in a row lol so I dont see him stopping Cotto to be honest

yup, Pac is lucky Hatton didn't land another shot. Bullocks. He was put on ***** street for 2 seconds? oooohhhhhh...

I think Cotto has 2 things going for him. He can fight off the back foot and he's got a decent jab.

Other than that, he's looked extremely ordinary since facing grade A opponents.
